In some cases eg flights from Chicago, they are forced to include a stop over in Stockholm/Europe to take on fuel thus adding numerous hours....

Not to mention flights from airports in mumbai, south india, gujarat etc. are mostly unaffected by pak airspace closure. about half of air india flights also go through the pacific, including the delhi san francisco flight. Not to mention, losses to pia are much higher as a percentage of pakistan's aviation industry and economy in general thab air india's. So if pak wants to "hurt" india it just scored a self goal lol.
