Position of strength. This guy has totally lost his mind. TTP was in position of strength when they controlled entire FATA and SWAT. Now now when they are hiding in Afghanistan. And if Afghan Taliban want to be legitimized they would have to deal with TTP in some form.

To my understanding, what will most likely happen is factions of TTP which have somewhat Afghan Taliban influence will lay down their arms and return to normal life, in exchange for not been targeted.

The most important point people miss here is Taliban are using their influence and picked a side which they promised us. This means that they wont be acceptable on Afghan soil if they involve in militancy.

ISKP and other foreign agencies influenced factions obviously will not accept it. Things will become more clear if you start seeing TTP as a diverse group with many factions, it is not one entity. What is being done here is narrowing down the target, denying them legitimacy and land on both sides of border.

Peace deals are always used by both sides to buy time. As soon as Pakistani side thinks it is ready. TTP will he hunted.

The only peace deal have to be that they surrender without preconditions and there will be no check posts removals or body searches stopped. We have done enough hunting that's why they are finding themselves without or very little support in the local population and most of them are across the border. We are living with relatively peace and once upon a time attacks are not affecting our lives like in the past. Now we have got the fence and border management is going to kick in soon so lives for these traitors are getting harder by the day. Indians have ran off and now Taliban have got no excuse to control and rein in on these namk harams and ISI hunters better get their scopes on sniping rifles ready.
Check posts and soldiers on those posts must stay until they are eliminated or they surrender what ever comes first. Last time we were made fooled by these locals, so called elders and these thugs and they used to make peace deals to strengthen themselves. Peace deals were used to arm, train and increase their numbers and then every year they kept on appearing in different and in more areas. If some locals are finding check posts unbearable then impose on them peace tax for every time they passed through those check posts and are checked as tax payers are paying for their deeds.
Even PIA couldn't fly from Peshawar and Kohat airports and thanks to these traitors our own poor folks became refugees in KPK and those images can't just go away. They must surrender and then for an year they must go through retraining camps like army is doing in Swat and other areas. There is no room for these namak harams after doing untold damage to our land, economy and people and only place they are left with is 6feet under and let Allah judge them for their deeds afterwards.

TTP always broke the deal in the past. The peace deal use to give them the opportunity to regroup and attack Pak. The reduce level of terrorist attack from 2016 to 2020 were the results of military actions taken against them earlier.

There are many places in Pakistan where government has no control . Plenty of places within pakistan from where these people can plan and attack
