No offense but these Sufis and other religious leaders have a tendency to talk about destruction ... Anybody who understand the psychology of fear will understand that !!! Being one's grandson or son or some distant relative of Sufi or pir of faqeer doesn't guarantee piety , if that was the case then the son of Noah wouldn't have died in vain ... Believe in Allah !!!

.
Why the hell are we discussing what some sufi said on this forum?

. . .
No offense to anyone who follows Orya Jan Maqbool and people like him but i think they are full of crap and exploiting people's emotions.

So is the Aga Khan. He has even been legitimized by western governments.

Understanding the world of tasawuf is difficult for an outsider. A practician of tasawuf may also find it difficult to explain what goes on, on that plane.
I would just say that you have to personaly delve into actual sufi practices & get an experience of 'Marfat' in order to realise that real auliya still exist. Not the jaddi pushti gaddi nasheen(whose large %ge are fraud) type, but people who are where they are due to their Ibaddat, Zahd & Taqwa or in 1 case I know of, born as a Wali. I personally know some such ''real & actual Sufis''. A couple are practicing doctors, 1 is a Chartered A/C like me, another is a Hakeem, another is a naanbai & few more like them.
What these Sufis tell us, are not predictions but warnings, advice & glad tidings as well, couched in metaphors & cliches. One has to be very perceptive in order to understand such clues. Har kissi lalu panju k bas ki baat nahin inko samajhna.
The people I know, have also expressed such sentiments as in the article posted in this thread. As for the sins, people ask what sins? I ask you to introspect as individuals how sinful you yourselves are & then ponder over the society in Pak as a whole, you will get your answer.
As to 'loosing the plot' like someone said, no no one has lost the plot, you folks just can't understand the depth of that world or those people.
Btw before any one jumps on my case, I (though not a sufi per se) have been prescribed specific wazaif (to be recited after every namaz) by some of the auliya I know. Ever since I started, I've developed a sense of somewhat limited precognition (wrt important events/happenings regarding me & my close/neuclear family) in my dreams.
Example back in 1999 when I was 15, barely 3 weeks before my diagnosis with Leukemia, I dreamt myself in a hospital room. Day of my diagnosis & admittance into SKMCH, that night I woke up in the exact same position on the bed, at the exact same time, exactly drenched in sweat, heavy breathing & my mother sleeping on the sofabed in exactly the same position as in my dream.
That dream was the first of many & these precognitive dreams stop whenever I drop my wazaif & restart a few days when I start my wazaif again.
If the recitation of some Ayahs, Surahs & Sifaat of Allah after every prayer can bless me with such a gift, why can't the piousness & stature of real Auliyah & Sufia bless them with a far greater amount of Baseerat with the permission of Allah?
Like I said, you have to go through it to really believe it. you have to personaly delve into actual sufi practices & get an experience of 'Marfat' in order to realise that real auliya still exist.
