Pakistan Getting MI 28 and Surface to Air Missiles from Russia?

These are the hardware's PD needs & these are the hardware's PD needs to go for. Great news.

They are needed to strengthen the defence & they are the best choice for PA. I hope PD goes for good quantity.

MI28's are very badly needed to replace the dead old Cobras.

Well considering , we never had a chance to purchase these goods , it would be ideal to get as many units as we can considering we have good relations now with Russia

For Helicopters any number less then 30 would be some what low expectations , considering we have been seeking Gunships since 1980's almost 30 years , so hoping for 30 MI-35 , and 30 Mi-28 is sufficient.

The SAM is self explanatory , we do need these most countries had these since 70's
So just goes to show urgency of making up numerical numbers

For Helicopters we have always set aside budget , however the moment never came when we could purchase.

SAM , are needed , and presently we need to protect major city areas so just 1-2 SAM batteries is not enough however we need proper numbers

Watching a documentary on youtube in Russian about Pantsir, I guessed it cant be targeted by anti radiation missile. Could this be true?

By the way, that Kamaz truck on which this system is mounted looks great

S-400 will be a great addition, or at least S-300 PMU2 depending on the urgency, a mix of both will be somehow less expensive and more efficient.
All the systems being offered are potent ones, The Tor, the Buk and the Pantsir. The MI28 Havock and the MI35 are complementary platforms.

First agreeing to sell systems like S-400 and SU-35 to China and now offering these to Pakistan. Strategic sands do shift. It would be interesting to see how Pakistan's too PRO-AMERICA military reply to this offer.

A military diplomatic source in Moscow told IHS Jane's that Pakistan is also interested in buying a batch of Mi-28NE 'Havoc' attack helicopters and that a Russian delegation is preparing to present data on the Mi-28NE as well as the Pantsir-S1 (SA-22), Tor-M2KM (SA-15), and Buk-M2 (SA-17) surface-to-air missile systems to Pakistani officials at the forthcoming International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS) 2014 in Karachi.
