ISLAMABAD: In a major development on Monday, well-placed sources within the government told that India and Israel along with a third, unnamed nation, were jointly planning to launch an attack on Pakistan on February 27, ARY News reported.

According to sources, Pakistan’s intelligence agencies had received a report regarding the designs primarily crafted by the two countries, however, it was learnt that a third country, presumably a world power, was also involved with India and Israel.

Sources told ARY News that the neighbouring country was targeting eight locations in Pakistan with its missiles, primarily Karachi and Bahawalpur. In response, Pakistan had also taken aim at eight to nine targets if the neighbouring country proceeded with its hawkish move.

However, a tip-off from national intelligence agencies and that of a few friendly countries informed Pakistan about Indian ambitions.

It was learnt that India had planned to carry out a missile attack on Pakistan via Rajasthan. They further said Israel had an aim to dent Pakistan’s nuclear assets.

To counter the enemy’s move, Pakistan had closed its airspace after receiving confirmed reports about India’s nefarious designs, so that the enemy couldn’t possibly target any civilian aircraft.

Pakistan had already given a befitting response by downing two Indian planes and sent out a clear message that any adventurism from the Indian side would be responded to strongly.

Sources informed that Pakistan had rightfully demonstrated restraint after India’s violation of its aerial territory, but an iron-fisted response next day was a signal to the enemy that it shouldn’t proceed with what it was planning.

In the later days, Pakistan’s decision to release Indian pilot Abhinandan Varthaman was appreciated widely at the international level with Prime Minister Imran Khan receiving international acclaim for his measured response to the heated situation.

Sources further told that India had so far given no actionable evidence to Pakistan regarding Pulwama attack, an incident that triggered that February end’s events. “There’s nothing in India’s dossier handed to Pakistan recently”, a source told ARY News.

However, sources said, Pakistan was already taking strict action against banned outfits through counter-terrorism operations, tightening the financial noose, and neutralising them to bring them in the national mainstream.

Whi was world power ? Is it US ? Cant be russia ...

Israel IS a country actually; recognized by United Nations on 11-05-49: http://www.un.org/en/member-states/#gotoI

Intelligence report is not public; we have views of some journalists to go by.

If sufficient evidence exist to implicate Israel in conspiring against Pakistan, then the Government of Pakistan should send a message to Israel FORMALLY and OFFICIALLY and make it clear to its leadership to back-off. Right time to be vocal against potential enemies and let them know that we are not sleeping.

Bro no need to write any letter.

Remember our previous defence minister Asif khawaja... he warned the same country if severe consequences if he dare to...

Sometimes a clue like this is more efficace than a formal warning.

It doesn’t mean they would stop trying it at least they receive the message.

According to Dr. Shahid Masood, the third country involved is on our west (its not Afghanistan).
Iran.

Israel is like that friend who pumps you up to go ask out a girl but when she embarrasses you in front of the whole college he is no where to be seen. :partay:

Thank you Israel and Major Adnan Sami
LMAO

Really ... thats really dangerous
Bro, some personalities are quick to pinpoint usual suspects in the game, but geopolitical realities are much complex behind-the-scenes. These same personalities are too biased to pinpoint 'other' suspects in the game.

State agencies should not disclose anything sensitive to mainstream media because some personalities are very eager to give their own spin to behind-the-scenes developments and fuel animosity between multiple entities.

India most likely receive special form of technical assistance from certain entities for its military-oriented objectives, but same is true for Pakistan (we do not have extensive satellite coverage of our own, right?). Nevertheless, Russia, US, KSA, UAE, Turkey and China, each have attempted to diffuse tensions between Pakistan and India recently.

Of-course, Israel is no friend of Pakistan, but what shall we expect when we do not even recognize its existence? We never tried. And the very notion of reaching out to Israel is frowned upon here. We cannot sort out our problems with Israel unless we have dialogue with them - common sense.
