Pakistan envoy summoned over insulting remarks on Bangabandhu

Diplomatic sources said the Pakistani website “defence.pk” published highly objectionable remarks about Bangabandhu, which is not acceptable at all.

They said the website is mainly administered by the Pakistan government.

However, content of the comments could not be known immediately.

A note verbale was issued from the Foreign Ministry

Bangladesh government has summoned the Pakistani high commissioner to protest insulting remarks posted on a Pakistani government website against Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

A Foreign Ministry source told the Bangla Tribune a strongly-worded note verbale was handed to acting high commissioner Shah Faisal Kakar on Tuesday by the ministry’s South Asia Wing Director General Tareque Muhammad.

“As soon as it [the comment] came to our notice, we summoned him. We asked him whether anyone can post a comment on a government website in Pakistan, whether they have someone to censor such content,” the official said.

“He said in reply that he would inform his headquarters.”

What do Bangaldeshi expect us to call him??? and at the same time why do we expect Bangladeshis not to retaliate on that issue. Pakistanis and Bangaldeshis should either bury their differences or they should nuke each other and eliminate 100% of their foe, if they can. May be we should put a poll.
