The care taker govt was pro pml-n and anti-PTI so it was all planned ...you would be astonished to know that 96 constituencies in Punjab had more than 100% voter turn out lol that means total number of voters registered were 100 and votes casted were 250 or even more in some cases upto 350% .....i myslef witnessed it ...u cant imagine how bad the situation was.....we got freedom in 1947 but we are not free till today ....

The Brits solved these problems by mobbing the MPs of corrupted elections and mob-support of honestly elected MPs (like John Wilkes) Parliament refused to seat. Eventually Parliament gave in.

Zardari has failed as PPP leader: Munter

WASHINGTON: Former US ambassador to Pakistan Cameron Munter has said that there is no more Bhutto in the Pakistan People’s Party now and President Asif Ali Zardari has failed as party chief and the president.

At a press briefing, the ex ambassador said that Nawaz Sharif has emerged as a strong leader and he had yet to decid whether he wanted to indulge in political wrangling or focus on economy, good governance and improving relations with India.

He said that rigging in recent polls showed violation of rules and regulations. Speaking on the occasion, Denial Markey, an expert on Pakistan affairs, said that the elections had further pushed the country into ethnic divide.

Both the speakers rejected a US newspaper reports that US had played any role in Nawaz Sharif victory against his political rival Imran Khan.

Mera khail main abb is cheez ka faisla kah kis main kitni khausayat hain ko ana wala waqat per chor dena chaie. There is no point in bickering. Nawaz has center as well as Punjab while Imran only has KPK and his options on matters such as drone strikes remain limited. However the way he governs the province should tell us whether hes worth the salt or not.

Just checked the ECP site, it still says Ch Nasir is the winner
