Of these 80% people upto 15%... Upto 15% may require.. may require.. may require.. hospitalization..

Which means: rest of the 85% of 80% may not require hospitalization..

Now that I have told you that I work in government healthcare, let me tell you that the number of hospitalized are less than 15% of the total infected in our system..

Just because you need to be hospitalised doesn't mean there's not sufficient immune response generated. Can be for variety of other reasons. Your lungs simply are damaged enough already, co-morbities etc.

Secondly, that figure is.... I don't know where you even come up with it. The number of deaths keep fluctuating in different countries. Italy has the worst mortality rate, China terrible, US has so far a little better. Going by that, seems like 96-97% survive while 3-4% mortality rate. That's not 85%.

Thirdly, how do you judge a sufficient immune response? Every person mounts an immune response. There are variety of factors. Some strains of viruses are more virulent. Nutrition of the patient etc.

To say that 85% people mount a sufficient response is just.... I don't know what to say especially for someone in healthcare. You shouldn't spread this nonsense. It's inaccurate, it's gross misinformation and you don't even have anything to base this on.

And yes you are right in saying that immune system responds in almost every person... and you are right that hospitalization depends on many factors including age and strength of the body to cope with the symptoms. In some countries, hospitalization rate will be higher because the average age, that's one of the many factors, is higher.

When I said that most of the people create a sufficient response, I meant to say that they are able to cope with the symptoms of the disease without getting hospitalized. If you had any problem with this statement, you could've politely told me and I would've corrected it. My emphasis was on hospitalization, not on the technicalities. That's how civil debates happen.. not when you use F or S words.
