Getting KJ free via ICJ was never going to happen, which is why there was a separate set of demands asking for consular access and suspension of his death sentence.
If you need something, you ask for more, only then do you get what you originally desired.

Well, Pakistan's POV was that bilateral agreement between India & Pakistan regarding consular access takes precedence, and someone being terrorist/spy is excluded from this right. But ICJ have given verdict that bilateral treaties don't over rule UN or exclude someone from rights given under different UN agreements. Yes, we have lost on these grounds, will make up for short comings by means of our choosing, Case can be dragged till death of KJ.
But what will India be stand on agreement between India & Pakistan to make J&K a bilateral issue not international?

An Indian Defence Attache deputied to Iran from Indian Embassy in Tehran and that Indian Defence Attache was arrested outside of Indian Embassy in Tehran but not by the Iranian Military but by the Pakistan Military. This is a well known fact that Chinese/Rus Military experts are deployed in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir.

French, Germany, British and Polish are openly getting Missile Shield Components from Chinese/Rus. Cy 400 is Joint Rus and Chinese Military Ballistic Missiles, Range can be 380 kms



Indian Establishment relations with Iran has been always limited, Iranian Consulates inside India have been closed.

Pakistan literally drags Kashmir in every international forum, even has her allies issuing statement on Kashmir whereas India everytime pushes those reports aside that Kashmir is bilateral issue.
