Every developing country has those problems.Stop corruption-nepotism, diversify exports, improve tourism, Encourage SMEs, efficient agriculture, invest on HR(health+edu), good governance with merit. For all that good security. This is the only formula for success. Nothing more nothing less.
Actually each and every problem can be solved in due time if your intent is not only to win next elections. Unfortunately our vision is limited to votes. Big useless gimmicks earn votes that is a fact. People are as much responsible for it as the politicians.Every developing country has those problems.
Corruption is the one problem that can easily be eliminated if state institutions are strengthened and the economy is improved.
Jim O neill is no oracle. He coined the term BRIC in 2001 and got it wrong by 2015 (see the link below). No country in the history has grown at over 10% for over 30 years. The only country in the history to ever have grown at high rates over a long period was China. The growth rate you are talking is impossible to sustain over 30 years. CPEC will bring additional growth but to sustain it you will need a miracle similar to China's manufacturing and export led growth. CPEC will not make you competitive. It will be just an enabler. At the moment, your exports are dwindling and very narrow based (mostly textiles).Great Post bro.
But you got one thing wrong about the Base average.
Jim Oneil has based calculations astonishingly accurate because CPEC remember was only proposed at the time he made those remarks, His calculations on BRICS was remarkable as well.
The base average of GDP growth in Pakistan is expected to be realistically between 9-9.5 percent or maybe 10 up-untill 2050.
Let me tell you why.
Pakistan already has 6 percent growth rate according to a recent report by forbes so i expect it to rise at least to 8 percent by 2020 (Because half of CPEC is not yet completed and it will come as FDI ((Primarily it is more like investment in the form of FDI)) account for Infrastructure projects that will also be completed and backtracking losses to the national economy in light of the Privatization of National Institutions) I expect this to be the base average of almost 10 because remember Pakistan is growing by 5.5-6 percent today so it can amount to almost 3 trillion by 2050.
I expect you believe what Mr Jim has to say
Neither did i Say he was an oracle but his predictions have been correct ,Brazil and Russia are a different thing all-together.Jim O neill is no oracle. He coined the term BRIC in 2001 and got it wrong by 2015 (see the link below).
It ultimately leads to bubbles and crashes. Read about the East Asian crisis. For long term growth its imperative that a country has a competitive advantage. China has taken over manufacturing. India to an extent in services and IT. Bangladesh has found its competitiveness in textiles- you can see its textile exports increasing even while others are falling, South Korea and Taiwan are masters in electronics and semiconductors. Pakistan needs to find its space and do it fast.

Okay you are entitled to your own opinion and i respect that but i hate to brake it to you that Pakistan will cross this 10 percent mark.No country in the history has grown at over 10% for over 30 years. The only country in the history to ever have grown at high rates over a long period was China. The growth rate you are talking is impossible to sustain over 30 years. True that ,But one thing you don't understand is that the infrastructure in Pakistan has been non-existent,even after 68years the people of capital didn't have a dedicated public transport service,Similarly due to this the infrastructure is a huge part that is to be improved and is planned to be so,There are many infrastructure and mass transport services being built all over the country.Infrastructure led growth is not sustainable
CPEC will make us competitive economically ,That's the whole point.CPEC will not make you competitive. It will be just an enabler. At the moment, your exports are dwindling and very narrow based (mostly textiles).
,Many of the PTI- PMLN people and other parties blame democracy for the ills of our country.
Lets just close our eyes and continue on the path of democracy
Dear bro I ain't confusedYou are asking me to follow Path of Democracy and in the same sentence asked me to close my Eyes.
You are confused bro.
I rest my case and wish you good luckNeither did i Say he was an oracle but his predictions have been correct ,Brazil and Russia are a different thing all-together.
He never got it wrong as far as Russia and Brazil are concerned ,They would probably would be among the top 10 by 2050.
Okay you are entitled to your own opinion and i respect that but i hate to brake it to you that Pakistan will cross this 10 percent mark.

There are highways being built all over the country.
Major air-ports are expected to be completed and most probably many of them will undergo additional construction or modernization.
CPEC will make us competitive economically ,That's the whole point.
Exports are a problem but just as i said earlier in one of my post (We need an economic hegemony in south Asia).
I was very happy when India took over England with its GDPI rest my case and wish you good luck
Me keh raha hoon k Akhe band kr k Chal :3
I was very happy when India took over England with its GDP
When Europe can create peace after two devastating world war's ,Why can't we come to senses and create greater south Asia ?
We need somebody remarkable to stop hate on both sides.
Only one problem between Pak/India and that's Kashmir creating all the hate , and our leaders haven't been able to solve that
