This thred was about the increasing trade volume between BD and PAK. Instead it has become a feast where members throw feces at eachother. What a farce.

I've seen videos where monkeys reach back to get feces and then throw it at the opponent - then scream and run away.

That is the sad vision I was visualizing.

I don't understand how boasting about "supposed" superiority over Pakistan (which is the nasty habits of some AL shills and chetonabadis here) is going to help increase trade with Pakistan. It has been fifty years. Khamoshi ka time aya hai - to shut the trap. For real.

I mean this is not your Dhaka living room, it is an int'l forum.

BD sinking into floods yet somehow its gaining land every year

Millions of tons of silt gets washed away from the Himalayas every year and gets deposited in the delta marshlands in the mouth of the Padma/Meghna river in the Bay of Bengal. Nothing will stop that. There is an area almost 50% of another Bangladesh rising in the Bay of Bengal. This is how Bangladesh as an area was formed in the first place.

While we are talking about silt, Farakka Dam was however an ill-hatched idea which will slow down and back up the stream of the Ganga. It will flood more and more of Bihar and WB as silt gets deposited by slower flows upstream. Nitish Kumar wanted the dam to be demolished.
