Pakistan-Bangladesh relations thaw

And thats your problem - you BD guys have really big mouths like the indians. Spilling garbage comes naturally to you people. End of the day you have more in common with the indians, and that is why the indians rule like their little province.

Please answer the question instead of hurling insults as it makes you seem butthurt.

. .
Dude....

You are totally out of your depth here.

BD has 2100 US dollar nominal per capita expected to grow at 7% this year.

Pakistan has 1400 US dollar per capita expected to grow at 0% this year.

BD behaves like an efficient E Asian economy rather than the messy S Asian economies of India and Pakistan.
BD is going to be next hyper power.

. .
The case is not expelling Muslims. The case is creating anarchy. When creating anarchy is the reason and China is the main opponent here who can gain access to deep sea directly via Miyanmer, and it is a serious thing. USA can not establish it's hegemony in the region if China has such frequent access through Bay of Bengal! So everything is possible if you want to prevent China. Tell me what would happen if Bangladesh started war with Miyanmer? Probably we got the support from USA, and the result could be a war zone for international players! So fare could be the same as Pak - Afghan region.

However, it's not my idea. Let @Old School answer this in details, it's his idea but I found his logic appealing for some reason I already explained.
So, why do you think Bd with a broken sword can start a war with MM? Is it that easy? Has any western country sent modern weapons with which BD can wage wars? If it wanted to stop China from getting footholds in MM, it could have asked India and BD to join hands to offset China.

However, it is just the opposite. America is helping BD and both India and China are helping MM. The USA is trying BD to join the Indo-Pacific alliance to counter any future conflicts in this region. America wants all the sea lanes to be under its observations but it is unable to police it alone by sitting half the world away. India wants to do everything alone. This is why America wants smaller nations to support its efforts.

BD is going to be next hyper power.

No BD will become the first S Asian country to become middle-income in the mid-2030s while the rest stay firmly stuck in 3rd world status.
India may come close but I expect that it worries more about disintegration as states like Assam seek to join an economically successful BD.

It is a mistake to lump BD in with Pakistan and India as it is a unitary state and that is why it grows like an East Asian economy rather than S Asian economy.

.
Extract from the Link. BD is an Indian vassal state and hence strategically BD will be taken care of. This is where Myanmar comes in.

https://asia.nikkei.com/Politics/Pakistan-s-warming-ties-with-Myanmar

In the first week of May, the Myanmar Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Senior Gen. Min Aung Hlaing, visited Pakistan. During the visit, he signed several defense engagement treaties and an agreement on a comprehensive expansion of bilateral economic ties. The agreements come at a time when a China-Myanmar-Pakistan alliance against India is beginning to take shape. Myanmar has also become one of the first countries to buy the joint Chinese-Pakistan fighter jet, the JF-17.

Have you taken look at your infrastructure,Standard of living and Transportation?Just take a look at it.
Just take a look at Pakistani Motorway network, infra and living it leaves whole of S.A far behind even S.E Asia.
BD is doing good but you guys are just hyping too much.
P.S:-"Third World" was a political, rather than an economic, grouping during Cold War and remains so.

Like I say you are out of your depth here.

Just 13 years ago, Pakistan had nearly twice the per capita of BD. Now BD is 50% larger than Pakistan, although a lot of this is due to Pakistani currency devaluation but even without this BD and Pakistan would be equal now.

BD only in the last 5 years was able to ramp up it's infrastructure spending. Just look at what is in the works now and planned for the rest of the decade...

4 lane highways connecting all major cities, nuclear and other power stations, metro lines in Dhaka, massive bridges over the vast BD rivers, ports and railways are all being built as we speak.

BD will look like a totally different country in 10 years.

Building better infrastructure by getting into massive debt does not mean that Pakistan is economically ahead of BD.

.
So, why do you think Bd with a broken sword can start a war with MM?
Other than BAF, other branches are stronger. And in a proxy war why Bangladesh even need to start war with sharp sword?
Even without sword you can start a war with bare hand if it's a proxy war.

Is it that easy?
Nah it's not easy but it will literally turn Bangladesh into another Afghanistan, or Somalia. Bangladesh armed forces will never let it happen and that's the reason govt showed the tolerance despite having all provocation from Miyanmer.

Bangladesh acted very wisely and it was proven that Bangladesh has the maturity to fight a real war. Look at the battle of ain jalut as an example. Beibar constantly performed hit and run on mongol force and finally mongols lost their patience and fall into Muslim trap and the whole army perished.

Bangladesh didn't fall under the trap, it's simple. Today's war mostly fought by intelligence agencies and so every country is actually at an indirect war.

If it wanted to stop China from getting footholds in MM, it could have asked India and BD to join hands to offset China.
Why they will do so? And why for any earthly reason Bangladesh will follow them if they want it?

And also why west will take a risk of nuclear warfare ( in the case of any direct warfare) ? They are not children. It's not like Russia and Ukraine where you can annex it's land directly. It's USA China!
However, it is just the opposite. America is helping BD and both India and China are helping MM. The USA is trying BD to join the Indo-Pacific alliance to counter any future conflicts in this region. Yes that could be possible too! No disagreement. Since we only depend on analysis and don't know the reality so I would say nothing is impossible. All we discussing are just about various possibilities!

You don't even know the ABC of economics and here you are lecturing as if you know it all. As I said, you guys have a really big mouth like the indians. There is saying "Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones" .
I would suggest to take a few classes on Economics and Finance and then come and have a chat with me.

PERIOD.

Pakistan was not doing very well ever to be honest.

Most it got was 3.5% per capita growth in the 1980s.

Can you post a link to a credible source that proves this?

Please Google it to confirm.

BD has super low debt compared to rest of S Asia.
