Who are Soldiers of Pakistan Army

They have been called Punjabi army by TTP terrorists & BLA terrorists
They have been ridiculed ,insulted and mocked by right wing media anchors like Hamid Mir (Jafer) & Irfan Sadique etc.

They have been declared flawed Muslims and not eligible for funeral prayers by the Burka Mullah of Masjid Zarar of present time (Lal Masjid).

Media Hate campain
There has been a sustained hate campaign by the electronic media against the armed forces & the way Pak Army was presented & talked about made you wonder if these Taliban sympathisers were talking about Israeli/ Indian Army or the army of their own country. Specially the way lal mosque operation and its aftermath was covered and the way those media hosts twisted the picture, interviewed the “victims” of Lal Mosuqe and mentioned the army affected the general public & created Taliban sympathisers who openly started calling Pak army of rented and sold out soldiers of America.

Some web forums & youtube are littered with these people who start with sectarian hatred, justify TTP terror on one hand and then criticise army operation citing the civilan suffering which i find contradictory because these people justify beheadings by fanatics but ciriticise army operation in the same breath.

My view of Pak Army
But tell you what I think of the soldiers of the Pak army

They are the same people like us
They grew up in the same place, street and neighbourhood
They went in the same schools and mosques with us
They pray the same God
They have same feelings like civilians about life, love and family
They are part of us
They are our fathers, brothers, cousins and friends
They didn’t come out of thin air or got air dropped from Israel

Request
So I request the fellow people of this country to stop insulting its sons who are fighting the religious fanatics who I term as kharjis. I also request people to stop justifying the TTP terror like jamat Islami does. And also stop accusing India, Israel & America for the present state of religious & sectarian intolerance which dates back to decades of venomous and divisive teachings by the hardcore Taqfiri Mullahs.
Its Not Zionists
On a lighter note , this Mullahism & resulting sectarian hatred has put the foreign spies out of job now. Why should the “Zionists” spend time and money and risk their people to conspire against Pakistan when we have home grown terrorists willing to behead and mutilate ordinary civilians & government servants the town centres & make movies about it.

Mr Kamran Shafi implies that I wrote my letter ‘In defence of the army’ ( May 3) at the behest of the establishment. Let me make this clear.

Mr Shafi’s repeated tirades against the army leadership (and, therefore, the army) are bound to upset any conscientious citizen — and we are all ‘conscientious’ citizens — of this country.

His articles may be eagerly awaited on the other side of the border and may make good, gleeful reading over there, but not here. I had two childhood friends at Lawrence College, Ghora Gali, and who later joined the army — Reza Shah ‘Shaheed’ who embraced ‘shahadat’ in the 1965 war, and Sabir Meyer ‘Shaheed’ who embraced ‘shahadat’ in the 1971 war.

(I myself could not join the army because of compulsions at home, a fact that I will regret to my last day because had I been in the army and embraced ‘shahadat’ like my friends, I would have done my dead parents proud).

But no one in the army has ever asked me to write on their behalf. As regards Sheikh Rashid, although he and I have never met, I do watch TV shows now and then and I, and many others like me, admire Sheikh Rashid’s unique style, his up-to-the-point answers, his sincerity for his country and his presence of mind. ..............

Yes we should start teaching our own children and family members and it will effect all the society. To be religion is not hate full but to do bad on the name of Religion is crime against Religion. and Who support this ideology of Sectarian unrest or Terrorism on the name of religion is also criminals.

valid point indeed.

it is naive to think that all terrorists and their active symathisers are hot headed, illitrate and fanatics that are emotionally charged with sel righteousness. that would be the foot soldiers but the real threat is from the well educated apparently modern Islamists who are secretly obssessed with Al Qaida Ideology and form the senior tier of the Global Jehad movement.

I think that Shezad giuy falls in that category whether he as a part of a sleeper cell for a long time or suddenly changed a few years back is open to debate and discussion because thats what his relatives & friends say anyway.

the Taqfiri Ideology of Al qaida ( by which all Muslims are by default fake Muslims if they dont agree with Taqfiris) everyone including Muslims are sinners and sin is definace of God for which the only punishment is death. so for Taliban/ Al Qaida me and yourself are same and deserve death because we dont agree with their Islamic Interpretation.

this is not new. these people have faught with Muslim Caliphates & even assasinated Ali the fouth Islamic Caliph and son in law of Prophet Muhammad PBUH. they attacked Mecca & took the pillgrims hostage back in 1979

coming back to your question. I must say that we need to be careful while defining the active terrorists & Violent Jihadis of Al qaida. while a bulk of these people might be disgrunted, poor and illitrate angry men fed up with curroption and poverty in their part of the world but then we have very well educated, privileged men and women (e.g. OBL) who gave up their wordly comforts for global jehad.

it is actually the ideology that needs defeating and like countless threads on web, countless talk shows and books it is pointed out that there are levels at which we need to deal with them

be it education
be it local customs and heritage
be it justice
be it national pride & nationalism
be it employment and poverty aliviation
or in extreme cases total extremination and destruction

so there is no one fit for all solution. my target audience here is the men and women of my country who value life & respect and love for their country. the language and method for taliban sympathizer would be totally different

haha good point. although I would ommit the Zionist prefix.

one can also quote the cop killers in US who just do it as out of Habit without any links to Pakistan or Islam even. the point is, the violence is a part of human psyche as is love and affection & it is affected by situation and environment.

so it is not unique to Pakistan or Islam. but news are international if it is becaue thats what sells in this present time. story of a regular Church goer who decides to take the lives of many chidren in the Amish school never brought that much media attention because Islamic terrorism was the hot subject

There is awhole list of other American school shootings done by Non-Muslims in America but they were not labeled as terrorist nor some one asked them what their Parents taught them. It was considered as an individual act only.

Heck, Seung has a severe anxiety disorder, Dr Amy Bishop has severe mental health issues that appear to be paranoid schizophrenia. Every one of Non-Muslim terrorists has some sort of medical condition to justify their acts.
But the only conditions in Muslim terrorist America and the rest of the world can find is Islam.. Thats the level of ignorance people tend to have now a days.

No one blammed them for their religion, race... but a Muslim terrorist has to be fistly classified as Pakistani then a terrorist.

There are many other acts of killings of innocent ppl took place in rest of the world and were not classified as a terrorist act because they were not Muslims.

Ever heard Christina or Hindu guy killed some innocent ppl, raped some one on the news ??
But every other day you do hear a Muslim man killed some ppl.. A Muslim guy rapped some one etc etc.
thats islamopobhia man and its becoming a Mental condition also.

I have only given the examples of school shootings just to make a point. Google is your and my best friend we can search of hundred thousands of other news aswell where a Man or Gang had killed some cops in America but Muslim man and a Muslim terrorist organisation had killed some cops else where.

yesterday on CNBC pakistan Hamid Mir was saying in a program that Indian media is not viberent as it always follow line of govt where as pakistani media is Laraka and say the truth.
I gave a laugh and cried that why the hell he call him self Pakistani journalist we all know whose intrest he and most other anchors serve
