This memorandum of understanding (MoU), signed in September in Islamabad, involves the state-owned Thai Defence Industry Company (TDI) supplying the vehicles to Pakistan's Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT).

Thailand has entered into an agreement with Pakistan to supply the Pakistan Army with 100 Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles. The students were very impressed by these operational activities.The purpose of the visit is to strengthen the relationship between the people and the army.
