AK and Ak 1 Combined will be more than 1200 and around same number will be Haider and again there is no such thing as AK-2 that thing you are calling AK-2 is basically AK-1.

What. AK and AKI will be 1200, after years Pak managed to built 600. And how did u even put 1200 for Next Generation Haider Tank? What about T80UDs. It would be total over 3k tanks.

It would be correct to have more Haider tanks than AK or T80UDs. Haider will be the best tank in PA inventory.

We have only 300 T 80 UD and they would not survive for long we need Haider and Al Khalid I in really large numebrs and we would have to increase rate of production

China has agreed to Pakistan's request to purchase China North Industries Corporation's VT-4, the export version of China's MBT-3000 main battle tank, military expert Song Zhongping told Beijing Television in an interview on Nov. 19.

Pakistan urgently needs a more modern tank like the VT-4 after its chief rival India introduced the T-90 main battle tank from Russia, also gaining the license to manufacture its own T-90s, according to Song.

Song said the VT-4 is better than the T-90 in mobility, firepower and defensive capability and it would be best for Pakistan to introduce a production line for the tank to meet the challenge from India.

Song said he was stunned by the design of VT-4 when he saw the tank for the first time. He said that the tank has explosive reactive armor like most advanced tanks produced by the United States and Russia. Furthermore, the tank's 125mm smooth bore gun is currently the largest tank gun anywhere in the world. Song said the VT-4 can do anything other main battle tanks can do and the model will serve Pakistan's armed forces well.

Not bad to acquire this machine along with the production line. deals with the immediate threat perception from Indian T90 and will supplement further developments in the Al-Khalid platform.

Well that is really good thing but for T-90 we have AL-KHALID I which we would show in IDEX 2014. Where are tests being done ?

Reliable source from China that PA had begun it's test on MBT 3000. Mounted with RCWS, third generation heat imaging device, 125mm Gun designed for launching Anti armor missle PG7（tandem heat body, effective range 5KM,Penetration RHA240/68 degree),1300 horse power diesel engine. Active counter system like GL5 on Type 99g could also choosed to mount on MBT 3000. MBT 3000 is the best platform China's got for export, PA will be the first client as expected. The overall weight is controlled at 52 tons means it can pass bridges and road in most part of Pakistan. As long as PA get it, you can effectively deal with T90.

Congratulation, another cooperation milestone for China and Pakistan.
