In context of Panama leaks, we have hit an all time low in terms of the shamelessness of our Political elite to defend their corrupt acts of unbearable proportion. They are become unbearably stubborn in defending the murder of this nation which they are perpetrating.
They are making the State look like a joke which protects the people who are leeching off the bounties of this land. This perception of lawlessness, injustice and absolutely flagrant violation of all norms of decency being created due to the antics of our political elite is always going to hurt us even if the economic factor is taken out of the equation.
What is giving more and more ideological space to the extremism that plagues us?
Is it it not this diminishing confidence in the State/Government which creates the self styled Shariah courts of JUD or Laal Masjid and even Swat?
We cannot defeat these terrorist scum if we are allowing such corrupt people to run the organs of the state and become its face.
P.S. I think we shall have new conspiracy theories about how this is also an ISI plot to destabilize government in wake of Panama leaks...our nation can be trusted to give a serious thought to any conspiracy theory, no matter how lame.
