This is a very sad news. They are destroying our military in this manner. Make Haroon Aslam CJCSC, Tariq Khan COAS and get rid of Rashad ASAP.

If Kiyani gets CJCSC post and makes it matter, then he would have done Pakistan a great service. This was not supposed to be just a ceremonial post. There is a need for a senior military figure who should use this post to bring together all services. COAS calling all the shots is not a sound position any more. If we had had a strong person in CJCSC post, Kargil would not have happened.

It does not matter whether General Kiyani gets this post or not. Some one needs to make this post matter. That is important.

you spoke my mind there is no more room for kiyani if army and pakistan are to be strengthened ..... NS said he will make jc and ac those officers who are in line seniority wise... its time to keep your word PM NS
