What plane it is ? Looks like a super basic taildragger trainer.

Good thing the pilots survived.
Swedish Saab MFI-17 aka Mushshak.

I translated the Urdu tweet and it said so but yeah, given no ejection seats and the way the wreckage looks.. who knows.

Loss of life is always regrettable, hope they made it somehow.
Propeller aircrafts are safer than normal ones, afaik.

Was it a Super Mushak or just plain Mushak? AFAIK army operates more of these than the Airforce itself.

Turbines are safer than pistons.

The account says both pilots got KIA. Didn’t survive. Wait for official confirmation.
The one in Urdu says both safe, the one in English (Indian) says both died.
Tbh, I'd trust the Pakistani source, considering they posted before.

.
All local sources are reporting that both pilots are safe but fake factory Patil creates his own version to pat his sorry India a$$.

Happens when you can't find your two pilots (a lt col and a captain) even after more than a week of search from a lake

You tried to make others dead to feel good. Pajeet mentality

It seems Mushshaks in PA aviation are facing more frequent crashes as compare to those in PAF where they are used more extensively. What can be the reasons? Poor maintenance or older models operated by PA??
Based on the serial no it seems it was inducted in 1980 so pretty much old air craft.
