We will be seeing more active diplomacy & whole new level of approach between both countries. The clash with India has favoured us a lot & I hope we will be safe from evil eye. A new start in regard to more cooperation which will benefit both sides in long term. I can say that after a while, these meetings & MOUs are not just routine rather more valued for us & Russia as well. 27th Feb, 2019 is the key which changed many minds in favour of Pakistan. Upcoming month, year or so will show results with reference to defence & strategic cooperation between Pakistan & Russia.

Yes.
In the recent standoff between India and Pakistan, both Americans and French were more than tacitly supporting India until Pakistan shot down the Indian Mig fighter jet. Russia--India's long strategic partner and biggest weapon seller for a long time chose neutrality. A big shift from the past. Perhaps they have sensed that India is lost for them. And somehow I don't think India's planner did a good job alienating a powerful country like Russia so quickly; perhaps the multitude of red-carpet receptions in Washington DC got into their heads.

If ever in the future Russia is going to support India as it did for decades before, Russia will ask substantial rewards for the support.

I feel where India may have went wrong is that the staunchly denied the Russian offer for mediation, even with their foreign office and media saying that Russia never made no such offer. I was shocked because international media itself reported that Russia wanted to diffuse tensions, so then how can India itself claim without any quotation from Russia, and force imaginary words or narratives onto others. That in itself I think might have done the true damage.

To accelerate the relationship, the place to start would be Chechnya! The very Muslim province/state within the Russian Federation which also holds great influence in the Federation due to its leaders great relationship with Putin.

And then comes public perception, Pakistan needs to brand itself in Russian public because Pakistan is treated very stereotypically in Russia.

regional Powers comes closer for the betterment of the region and world is always a welcome move ..

Sound diplomacy IMHO. Russia is a powerful country and Pakistan should have constructive relations with it. In this way, Russia will be more reciprocative to Pakistani geopolitics then before.

pakistan Broke soviet union in revenge of Soviet union helping india break Pakistan (Bangladesh)

Perhaps now we can help Russia gain strength again. perhaps its time to break someone else.
Come on now, this myth needs to die.

USSR simply failed to work on long-term basis. US planted the seeds of 'democratic reforms' in USSR, and watched the show afterwards. Boris Yeltsin...

US did not support India in the recent chapter of Pak-India tensions - this is false assumption.

We dont have to. Someone else is already working on that. The one, USA supports the most.

Okay, so a NUCLEAR POWER country invades another NUCLEAR POWER country by crossing a border after almost FIVE decades via aircrafts and deposits some bombs and the US reaction was 'India has a right of self defense'.

It's not even debatable anymore. You some time really amaze me!

Correct. India would have never dared had it not had the silent backing of uncle Sam and other western countries. They thought they had done enough diplomacy/propaganda.

They expected Pakistan to further buckle opening the way for further domination of India over Pakistan setting the stage for a showdown in further strenthening India to be the muscle house against China.

What happened next shocked the world exactly how it shocked Pakistanis. Pakistan should firmly align itself with the future of the new bipilar world, i.e China, Russia and any other country that wants to join this union.
