i don,t think so, because there is quite much difference in attitudes and energies of both nations. our nation is already exhausted and i don,t think it is gona try any such adventure in near future.

.
everything can be expected from Pakistani people

.
Lets hope this does happen , i am sick of these morons sitting in Isloo munching 5 star dishes while millions are still living in tents.

Don't the Pakistanis have an easier way to get rid of unpopular rulers? Just vote them out the next time. If that is not possible, then probably they have they support of a majority of your country men and any revolution is bound to fail.

pakistanis are too divided, too much internal problems, pakistanis dont like each other, too much illeteracy, never gonna happen

You use "too" too much , lets take it as the basic problems ie blowing things our of proportion and making mountain out of a mole?;)

Did'nt Pakistan already have its Egypt moment when the people came out on the street and Musharraf had to flee the country?

And there is an easier way to get rid of the current govt., just vote them out next year

Hi, not to be "too" harsh. But, Pakistanis are too stupid, inbred, illiterate, intolerant and unorganized to have a revolution. I was also being gentle in my phrasing.

Pakistan does not have the ethnic homogeneity, literacy level, education level, foresight, or internet access to organize such a grass roots rising, compared to Egypt/Tunisia.

Also what if they do have an uprising, who will lead that country? Pakistanis tend to vote on family name, like Bhutto and Shariff, even though they have all but destroyed that country economically. Have you seen politicians campaigning in that country? They keep telling people how to vote by recognizing symbols, as the common masses are too illiterate to read the ballot.

Moreover the country will turn on itself, along ethnic lines once any so called revolution happens. Sad to say, 60+ years after independence, other than hating India, there is not much gluing that place together. Take care.

"So do not become weak, nor be sad..." (Qur'an 3:139)

So, verily, with every difficulty, there is relief. Verily, with every difficulty there is relief. —( QURAN 94; 5-6)

Maybe someday, when the desire for democracy reigns supreme. As of now it would appear, that the focus is on the Blasphemy laws. To amend or not to amend. Already the 'nays have it'. The priorities are simply not the same.

A revolution in Pakistan is impossible largely due to diverse ethnic groups.

A low grade civil war that gradually wears down society and the economy is far more likely than a flat out revolution.
