Hi,
There is no reason for a soldier to have a beard----it gives the enemy something to grab onto at time of close combat and disable you----. Army is not a religious seminary----a warrior is a warrior is a warrior----he needs to have short hair on his skull so the enemy cannot grab them---he needs a clean face to look fresh and strong in appearance----.
Pak Millitary needs to start with a buzz cut for its soldiers and officers----you must not be able to grab the hair in your hands ----ie--between the finger tips and the heal of your palm----.
That beard is a pure excuse for a soldier to hide behind religion and for an army to be forceably put into submission.
lol You sound funny MK , You are sounding like a 4 year kid man, i wonder you are the same man i know for 3 years on this forum. A person calling other kids is himself sounding like so
so this time round you don't find any logic to criticize MK so you came up with this stuff lol
No offense but seriously you have to review your statement . I know you will surely come up with counter statement to defend yourself coz i know you are not among the one being easily beaten in arguments , so m up for it
I think you should come up with a valid reason about why a warrior needs a beard instead of putting in a childish statement. IMO, MastanKhan points are absolutely valid.
Do you think in current scenario with the advent of long range weapons and guided technology, there is a probability that the foes will come so close to eachother that they have a chance to grab other person from beard ? even if one comes close to his foe why should he be bothered to grab him from his beard instead of killing him on first place with his gun or knife? And above it will not be one on one fight rather they will be operating in groups or battalions as its the way army operates , so why should a foe risk his life by trying to grab other's beard when he knows his partners are with him and in meantime can kill him
lol why don't you say directly that you are more against having beard than anythng else , and that is the only reason you are supporting his claim. You guys have phobias
Chogy Most of the pilots in Air Force (Fighter Pilots) are clean shaven and those who opt to keep beards cannot grow it beyond certain limit but 99% Fighter Pilots are clean shaven. These are probably security guys as the guy with long beard is not wearing air force uniform. There are some great pictures in the gallery - the U.S. general with the cowboy hat - rodeos are traditionally a cowboy/livestock show and contest:
The beards - I understand they are religious in nature, and I firmly believe in the right of an individual to express himself this way with beard or hair, but it still amazes me a bit because there is no way an oxygen or chemical warfare mask is going to seal. If those guys are at 30,000' and the C-130 loses pressure, what are they going to do?
The military is one of few organizations that can (and should) have rules that override certain religious edicts. If one of those guys is a loadmaster, passes out, he will endanger the whole aircraft, because he cannot do his duty.
I don't think it matters today.Sikhs have long beards and turban yet they fight bravely. Now Air force is a totally different issue thats why PAF Fighter Pilots are clean shaven.err.. So you don't think their is any possibility of hand to hand combat? Anyways, it's your army.. you know better. I just felt that his points were valid.
I don't think it matters today.Sikhs have long beards and turban yet they fight bravely.Of course Air Force is a totally different issue hence Pakistan Air Force are mostly clean shaven or have a small mustache.err..
