Many times the projects are offered as investment but it comes with sovereign guarantees on completion dates, revenue, per unit price etc. Meaning if a project is not completed on time or it is not getting enough revenue, public has to foot the bill agreed. Also sometimes, you have to buy services at a pre-decided price for a pre-decided volume.

FDI depends upon your credit ratings and returns..your rating has gone down due to reckless bankruptcy of 1998 and near bankrupcy of 2018
while we have bad history of nationalization in 1970s

Of course. I have often said to allow the new government time to implement its plans. That is also why I simply accepted this new development as awesome, for now. We will see the results, whatever they might be, soon enough.

CPEC is not a single investment, it's a series of investments under the project refered to as CPEC.

Meaningless conjecture. I can easily see through indian lies and propaganda. When I ask for evidence and proof for indian claims, it can never be backed up. Therefore proving that indians are heavily lying or making things up at best. The only way to wiggle out of it is by making meaningless assertions or comments. But in EACH case, NO ONE can prove that what indians are saying is honest and truthful.
