The new project will be developed on the know how of the ongoing indigenous Hisar short and medium-range surface-to-air missile systems which are being developed by the Turkish companies Aselsan and Roketsan since 2007, the official said.

Siper will be developed with higher altitude compared to Hisar, according to the official who noted that the new project will have almost 90-kilometer range and will provide protection against air vehicles along with ballistic missile systems.

It’s a high altitudes and range is probably be between 90 to 120.

For longer range, latest version of HQ-9 will be the best option. For medium & shorter range, BUK-M3, Pantsir-SM & KORKUT-D are the best options.

I don't think fighters are good for interception because of reaction time. Pakistan should go for long range AD system. It will also make enemies to think about it before attacking.
