The best option for Pak is Turkey, with no doubt and further ado

It all depends on what % of ToT Turkey is willing to provide.
There are other options available to Pakistan and Pakistan has increased communication with other friendly countries, for example Azerbaijan, Serbia, South Africa, Ukraine, Poland and China.
Also, MOU have been signed with few..

Yasoob wasnt a failed attempt.

Few hundred are still in sevice and a 6x6 variant was under development when it was cancelled by corruption and red tapism.

Granted it used foriegn engine/parts but was designed and produced in Pakistan.

It’s still in service and loved by army drivers and preferred over american M series and even Hino Paks.

P.S; Nowadays, HIT is assembling North Benz Trucks.

Does anyone know the cost of Cobra I and II MRAP, Ejder (aka Dragon) MRAP and Kirpi (mine resistant) MRAP?

According to defence blog Pakistan supposed to be locally producing Turkish Nurol Ejder.

Why is this project taking so long??
LAV project was sanctioned in the last Mil Yearbook.

While Cavalier LTD is also offering and marketing its armoured vehicles.

PA must promote local defense industry and must not order stuff from foreign countries for kickbacks if it's locally available. Joint venture with private sector will be good idea for new defense projects.
