Are we talking about Turks or Afghanis? When turks are not even mentioned in the context then why would i even talk about it? I am not talking about collective history of all but rather afghans and area that makes up current Pakistan.
It os strange that first you mention history yourself and when quoted from same history you divert it to firgive and forget. Unfortunately Afghans are a reality and even if you forgive and forget they wont. Burrying our heads in sand will not help us.
These afghanis are the biggest pain in the a*s
Turks want hood relations with Pakistan. Ever since 1947 our relations with them never faltered. It takes two to clap otherwise we would be looking like fools when they instead of handshake they chop our hands off. All relations are built on equity not one sided love affair. I would be the firat to rejoice friendly Afghanistan but for now these people have no intentions of peace. My point is that half of those afghans that used to attack and fight alongside other afghans are now part of Pakistan. We been attacked by turks as well but now are good friends, can we not do tje same with afghans?!it would require them to show interest as well. In any case, it benefits both and instead of emotional responses, we should eliminate the spoilers, who want us to fight them.

What would you have done when USSR was at you door steps with active help from afghans? Would you have been able to fight USSR and over a million afghans all by yourself? If anything trust deficit should be high at our end not the other way around considering they were the aggressors. Pakistan always had a reactive policy toward afghanistan. As a matter of fact Pakistan only started responding after 30 years of repeated onslaught of afghans on our borders. You really ought to read history of Pak Afghan conflict rather than rellying on Surkha propoganda. Its not easy when u been involved in their civil wars as a facilitator of one super power. The trust deficit is high. For now the best bet is to keep supporting pro Pakistan elements and not paint them all with the same brush.
Differentiate between an afghanistan or a harami?

So did we not interfere? U can have a million excuses but reality is that we interfered with american weapons and saudi money. We made thousands of madrassas and mass enrolled afghans and made them cannon fodder. Those madrassas came to bite us then. We radicalized their society. You think they will love u for interfering in their country? You are sore at them for not accepting Pakistan and small skirmishes while u expect them to be thankful for the decades of war in which we participated and interfered fully? Lolz U really are blind abt urself and what u do. I guess its u who need to read proper history and not believe in pak study books.
Whatever we did, was good for us but was it good for them? Did we give reconciliation a try? Or should we try it now? Or should we just carry on the same way?
We didnt interfere merely reacted for our survival for existence at the hands of USSR which at that time also included Afghans. Not every solution has to include bending yourselves backward in-front of Afghans for sake of peace. No matter what you say Afghans will never see you as anything but enemies. Even their spokesperson at the highest level called us non muslims as a state. If you think you can co exiat peacefully with a religious bigot like these then you are more than welcome to try. I for one will keep campaigning to protect my country against these animals who know only to kill.So did we not interfere? There ain't none.
The ONLY solution is to let afghanistan starve to death. That would eradicate the afghan menace and finish it off for good.

Helps in bringing better sense. Plus negotiation from a position of power is always better. It is in the interest of both nations to improve border situation establish cross border trade and improve connectivity to allow people on boyh sides of the divide to thrive. Like it or not we are brothers with a lot of commonality of aims. Good that the defence minister of Afghanistan visited the area and valmed things down from his end. PA is a very disciplined outfit although I think the Levies might have been involved in the outbursts.A danda straight up the "jacksi" normally helps in a software upgrade.
