Pakistan, Afghanistan epicentre of terror: Chidambaram
Submitted 1 hr 46 mins ago

Indian Union home minister P Chidambaram said on Thursday that Pakistan and Afghanistan are epicentres of terror. Chidambaram said that India has neutralised 51 terror modules since the Mumbai terror attacks of 2008. Most of the terror groups based in Pakistan target India, he added. "No country is immune from terror attacks. Challenge of terrorism is a formidable challenge," the Indian Union home minister said.
Chidambaram also said that the two recent terror incidents - Mumbai and Delhi blasts - are indeed a blot on our record.
CPI(Maoist) is the most violent group in the country, Chidambaram said.
The Union home minister was speaking at a conference of police chiefs in Delhi.

While India transferred its own centers to Afghanistan! Not surprise to listen from IM of India as they couldn't relax without blame on Pakistan. Their sins are covered because of US blanket.

this is a proven fact., please tell the world something new

Ok now mr genious chandibaram should advice its government to keep Indian citizens away from afghanistan or they may turn into terrorist also!

I am sure he is worried about the homegrown modules but then they are just the tremors originating from the epicenter. ;)

last time i checked, the "single biggest threat" to your country's "national security" emanated from your war-zone northeast ;);)

take it up with your own leaders, kiddo

didnt naxalites gun down almost 80 of your CPRF in one single encounter? Even Kasab and Co. couldnt have dreamed of such a score.

Personal insults aside (which reflect your mental age if not physical one), by God's grace, we get a Mumbai or a chattisgarh once or twice in a couple years.. Where as we hear of a Peshawar, Quetta, Karachi every alternate day.. Thankfully, Terrorism activities of rest of the world put together cant dream of matching the score of what happens in Pakistan. So really, its a no brainer if someone refers to that region as the epicenter of terrorism (nothing to do with Govt sponsored or not)..

Things like Chattisgarh aren't a one day in a year. Get your fats right about your country. Only last year around one thousand Indians have lost their lives in maoists violence alone. It is more or less 365 days of a year since 1967 unlike Pakistan which is facing it since 2005 actually.

About Karachi when was the last time you heard a suicide bomber killing dozens in Karachi or in Lahore or Rawalpindi or Islamabad? And that too when we have a huge border with a state like Afghanistan. If your country which is a so called future super power gets effected from Afghanistan without any geographical border with Afghanistan then I am not surprised if it is effecting Pakistan too. You should clean your home first instead of wasting your and our time about epicenter of terrorism thing. You might have all the fascination with terrorist incidents inside Pakistan but at least keep your facts corrected.

We share an equal sized border with Pakistan as Afghanistan shares with Pakistan. And for most Indians, the terrorism in Afghanistan and India are both a product of Pakistan. So its really the border with Pakistan that drives the amount of terrorism in a country and both Afg and India share that problem.

So in your view only bomb blast deaths in Karachi, Lahore, Pindi or Islamabad are a problem? And every one dying in Peshawar and other similar border towns has no value ?? ;)

Yes, there have been close to 2000 terrorism related deaths in a 1.2 billion country last year.. As against over 7500 in a 180 million country called Pakistan. you do the math.. :azn:

And As I see, the preferred way of killing in Karachi is something else other than suicide bomb attack.. But unfortunately, is as effective..

Yeah I know that.

And for most Indians, the terrorism in Afghanistan and India are both a product of Pakistan.

Yeah according to Indians. That thing defines it all.

So its really the border with Pakistan that drives the amount of terrorism in a country and both Afg and India share that problem.

As I said according to Indians. Not worthy to be debated or commented.

So in your view only bomb blast deaths in Karachi, Lahore, Pindi or Islamabad are a problem?

No. Unlike Indians terrorism in every part of Pakistan is important for us.

And every one dying in Peshawar and other similar border towns has no value ??

Lolzzz. Blasts in Peshawar has decreased a lot if we compare it to last year or so. The border towns are as the name says are geting attack because of sharing border with Afghanistan which you guys might not consider an epicenter of terrorism or whatever but the attacks on these border towns shows that the ground reality is vice versa.

As against over 7500 in a 180 million country called Pakistan.

Because we share border with Afghanistan which you don't. On the other hand two thousand deaths are still a huge number for a so called future super power which also doesn't share a border with a country like Afghanistan.

And As I see, the preferred way of killing in Karachi is something else other than suicide bomb attack..

And even that has decreased considerably since past few weeks.

But unfortunately, is as effective..

As I said unfortunately for you it has decreased to a greater extent too.

:)
