Pakistan is not a failed state, though its no doubt its a failed nation
Spit it out, no worriesCan say a lot on this but you won't like my thoughts.
Spit it out, no worries
I have visited Pakistan a number of times. A failed state cannot have exclusive first class housing societies as I witness every time I am there. Although its a failed nation when it cannot even unite on a basic issue of terrorism.
--Questioning unity of a Nation that laid down nearly 50 to 60 thousand lives over a decade (and after all that is still resilient) is beyond me. When you visited Pakistan did you get the chance to see children happily going to their schools? Did you see Pakistanis going to hotels with their families and places for fun? Did you ask any Pakistani how he feels about being Pakistani? Did you speak with children of Pakistan how they feel about their country and nation? You must have seen lots of traffic running on the roads? We still celebrate our life and give a damn about what expats like you or others have to say about us, because we know sitting with your butt somewhere peacefully and doing the talking is easy whereas facing the problems on daily basis and then reading criticism like yours is something that needs big heart.
And assuming that you must have spent a lot of time in Norway, just tell me this bit; would Norwegians act like Pakistanis if they had to face terrorism, bhata khuari, kidnapping, murder, and criticism on daily basis? Do you find them strong enough to send their children to schools after what happened in Peshawar? Will they be able to bear the criticism the world throws at Pakistanis (including yourself) if they were put in Pakistanis position. Indians still keep beating 26/11 and we Pakistanis still keep going to our Mosques, Imam Bargahs, Offices and Schools after facing 1000 times of 26/11.
What do you expect from this nation? Shift to Norway?
There is a difference between being resilient and tolerant. Problem with Pakistani public is not that they are resilient but they are tolerating things no Westerner or a sane person would ever do. If you watch that program on Ary News called Sar-e-Aam, you can see with your own eyes what kinds of things are happening inside Pakistani society for decades without public revolting or even demonstrating against them? How many Pakistanis ever demonstrated against this evil culture of bribery, corruption, nepotism that has been haunting their society for decades? Pakistan's eternal problems will never be solved as long majority of people keep tolerating and adjusting to the ways of intolerable! This is just plain wrong and resilience is no excuse to this.Questioning unity of a Nation that laid down nearly 50 to 60 thousand lives over a decade (and after all that is still resilient) is beyond me. They simply won't until government fix up the mess that it created by its failed policies. Norwegians did face a terror spree on 22.07.2011 by a White lunatic, who killed some 77 children, yet norwegians moved on and didn't make this one-time terrorist incident a national issue to topple entire elected government, something that Qadri tried and failed miserably! And assuming that you must have spent a lot of time in Norway, just tell me this bit; would Norwegians act like Pakistanis if they had to face terrorism, bhata khuari, kidnapping, murder, and criticism on daily basis? I don't expect anything. As I have already seen how desperate people were over there were to move outside Pakistan. What do you expect from this nation? Shift to Norway?
this is the purpose of many such people on PDFBetter than the daily rape threads opened by your brethren.

can you explain this first class housing ?

You won't imagine if I told you that Asia's biggest housing society is not in India or China, but Pakistan

Dear all said and done...
just think about htese question if nas fine if not fine
Do you want your live in pakistan ?
Do you want your children to live and educate in pak?
Do you feel proud to be pakistani ? why ? 1.2.3.4 reason ?
what you think where pak is heading and what its futur next 3-4 yr if not 10 yrs?
how much pak failed as nation and how much people failed as pakistani ? how to corrct it ?
every nation has issue so pak have it.. but still no sign of improvement .. no sign of governace .. no sign of prioriites of common man ? why its so ...? ( it my view you cna disagree )

----My friend what you are blaming Pakistanis for are the failings of State, not the nation. And with the public revolting it won't be good for anybody, so lets put the onus where it should be. Pakistanis demonstrated their revolt once in Karachi by giving befitting treatment to thugs, and it was not pleasant. So only thing standing between civil war and stability of Pakistan is patience and resilience of Pakistanis, otherwise Pakistan would have been another Iraq.
I read a lot about it on Guardian, that was unfortunate but the point I was trying to make is Pakistanis are not a failed nation you put them to any test and they will prove themselves, but the common Pakistani is not running the government, if you expect them to act as state its foolish, they lived with such incidents on daily basis.
Qadri is a totally different story he should have been taken care of when time was right, now its a complicated issue.
Okay then I am not amongst them.
So you are challenging me for being a Pakistani? Hell yeah I would live in Pakistan and did not leave when I could. Yes I would love my children to live in Pakistan and get education from one the best schools of Pakistan as I did.
Pakistan is going through a silent transition, you are talking about 3-4 years, I will bet you it will stay here for next 1000 years, world tried its best but failed, if anyone like you still thinks Pakistan is another Iraq, he is fool of first water.
Back your claim of Pakistanis as failed Nation? I can say India is a failed Nation so.
Common man does not come on media to tell you what his priorities are buddy wake up.

dear cool down...
i asked those question from head not from heart..
every nation is dear its people .. even somalin love their land despite all ods..
i asked practical question .. nothing else
we cant say pak as failed nation as we still need to go long way...
every nation is not perfect .. we have to make it perfect.. coutrsey - rang de basanti film
---Dear it is easy to blame / question others for your ego satisfaction or point scoring. I can say a lot about the real face of India behind rising shining hype, 26 insurgencies, lots of similar social issues like that of Pakistan, communal violence and many others. The only thing that goes to India's credit is that world needs their mire than one billion people for its products. Otherwise if you ask any Gora in private about India and his / her response would show you the real picture. Just google what one of William sisters said about your country after her visit or just watch that clip where one of your celebrity (I don't know his name, he is some singer) is abusing his own country, so better not to get deluded or fall for superiority complex .
---Funny how indians know very little of our country.
All they know is if "anyone steps outside, they get shot to pieces"
They think its a hell on earth.
Ah, such propaganda has brainwashed to such heights.
I pity you indians.
