Pakistan is the most charity giving nation if you see the the GDP income and compare it than comes Saudi Arabia India's elite is the most kanjoos they don't give money almost all of them that not saying of a Pakistani but report all the major Indian channels and newspapers

I mean if you compare the GDP income of the all the countries than how much people of different countries give in charity you will find out that Pakistanis give in charity the most and among who give the least or among elites of countries are Indians your elite gives least in charity just look at your Billionaires and Filmstars

i was watching on TV the parliamentarians coming to NA, all of them came in hondas and corollas with AC, but edhi came in a 90's jeep with no AC and windows down. That tells you about his personality. Pakistanis really gave alot during the 2005 earthquake as well. i visited a hospital in F 10 and there were tons of charity there.

my dear pakistani friends,
Honestly speaking, I had several misconceptions about pakistan before joining this forum. I have never heard of this guy Edhi before. From the
replies to this thread,i under stand that he must be a great man.(any links,pics etc will be appreciated). The world must know pakistan's developments and achievements too. You guys should take special care in it.
As a suggetion, i would recommend a new thread/section named "pakistan's socio-economic achievements". It should contain info about people like

Edhi and Imran khan are just two famous examples in Pakistan for their social work... there are literary countless number of people in this, and their achievements are tremendous and exemplary...

well if you can understand urdu, geomentery about Edhi's life is great documentary to watch,

on the board the meaning is "donot kill your love child, just give it to us"

People like Edhi are the reason that it still Rains in Pakistan. I know there are lot many people like Edhi in Pakistan, I hope they all be recognized and the GoP should learn from them how to be humble to its people by looking after its peoples real need.
