Are you really so blind that you fail to see why this drama is being played out in the border just when Nawaz Sharif is under the cosh by IK, TuQ and co.?

I guess one can't really blame you for having such a brainstorm, being the victims of your own media and illicit practices, the losers will and do wish same for others.......how can one forget the flare up on the border with Pakistan, when tens of thousand were protesting against the Delhi bus rape incident or the sudden increase in tension with China while Anna Hazare was causing some concerns, hence these ideas can and only work on Indian mentality, Pakistan is already in a war like situation on the Afghan border, why would it want to open another front, however Indians, the sneaky opportunist that they are, wouldn't miss to capitalize on such a situation.

This is clearly a biased article based on lies to show the country that indian army was on the top and was able to inflict grievous casualties on the uncontrolled Pakistan army that shoots at them everyday.

When did I ever say the Indian Govt doesn't play similar tricks? But I do need to know how much of a National frenzy does your so-called war on your West stir as against a war with India? Besides, the Indian Govt too wouldn't benefit anything by ordering such a diversion at this juncture. All's quiet on the domestic front here chief. No Dharnas and civil disobedience and calls for repoll here.

Jaitley to meet three service chiefs today: Defence Minister Arun Jaitley will hold a meeting today with the three service chiefs to discuss the security environment in and around the country against the backdrop of continuing ceasefire violations by Pakistan.

The Minister is expected to discuss the steps required to be taken by the forces to tackle the situation along the Line of Control (LoC) and the International Border, Defence Ministry officials said.

The Defence Minister is also likely to be briefed by the three services on the various infrastructure development projects along the border with China. There have been 95 ceasefire violations by Pakistan along the Line of Control and it has also breached the ceasefire pact 25 times on the International Border.

This is again Good News. Targeting bombings can decimate pakistan capabilities slowly but steadily. I hope the Indian govt. continue to raise the stake to the point where pakistan cannot afford it anymore and come running back to India, begging for talks.

Next step is to put pressure on the US to cut of aid to pakistan. Turn up the heat slowly.

Good at that rate India will able to eliminate some 2-5% foot soldiers of Pakistan's Paramilitary in next hundred years. Good luck.

The area in the google map image I have highlighted in pink is the Pearl continental Hotel in Peshawar. The area circled in red is the residence of the Corps commander. Nothing classified, its known to all.
For scale this is the PC hotel in peshawar(bombed and now rebuilt)

Now look at this

Would you in that position of seniority, and has a human being. As a collective culture, be willing to give up such perks as this palace on which no one questions you regarding the expenditure or otherwise?
Would you be willing to compromise any possibility of civilian oversight on why this is so? why is such a large area dedicated to a general's residence?(regardless of his seniority). Now imagine this replicated across the country.. the entire Army.

One can argue that they spend a lifetime in servitude to get here, but do IA corps commander not do the same?
