Pak’s two-faced Syria policy will boomerang

You can't expect to be a significant player in the world by staying neutral. If Pakistan wants influence like Saudi Arabia and Iran it needs to take a more aggressive stance.

Sorry sir, we have had enough wars already - we just want to be left alone. We don't want influence, power or anything else. Arabs and Iranians can become powerful, we are not interested in this war.

A neutral Pakistan on Syrian issue will do wonder to its foreign policy and international relations

We haven't taken a stand yet, so it means sane heads are prevailing in Islamabad.

I see some members here saying that Pakistan should stay neutral, nothing wrong with that.. however Pakistan suffered a lot from terrorism and terrorists and even from US attacks on civilians, therefore at least Pakistan should condemn terrorism and support the Syrian people fight against Alqaeda and F$A terrorists...

In the end its the innocent civilians on both sides that are going to be massacred. There is no good or evil side here, both sides fighting for power. Unfortunately Turkey and Saudi Arabia with their USA ally are making the situation even worse.
The people who actually started this uprising have been side lined now there are hardcore militants from all over the world in Syria doing ''Jihad''. I think Asssad should have resigned early on in the protests and hold free elections now the so called revolution has been hijacked by Saudi backed Jihadists who think killing Shia is a religious duty.
