BSF is a central police force, you are comparing BSF with a Special forces unit who are trained and equipped by America.

The Rangers arent a special forces unit; they serve the same roles as the BSF.

yeah these are badly trained forces they should be absorbed into the paraforces..

I saw a news article once about them and a group of the Levies stood along a dusty roadside somewhere on a long road cutting through the harsh isolated landscape of Balochestan. They wore traditional black shalwar kameez, peshawari sandles and armed with an ak47. As you rightly said very poor quality trained officers. Personally believe if Pakistan managed to sort it's police/ law enforcement agencies the Rangers could go back to the border posts and further strengthen the borders.
