In parallel state of Pakistan was giving away all jobs of Mosque Imams in Pakistan to RAW, who started to preach divide and extremism in the name of Islam. Iran also chipped in and radicalized Pakistani Shia community.
I have witnessed evolution of religious beliefs in last 3 decades, but people who continue to live in Pakistan didn't feel this change of society.
