Damn it Hazrat
Their was no issue with the rifle,,,,, mind you the operator was pretty slow, they need to repeat these drills until their fingers become sore!!!!!!
@Signalian @balixd @Oscar Gentleman how many rounds would the regular Pak infantry man fire in training??? Is it comparable to what a US infantry man would fire or far less.
If someone has been closely related with Pakistan Army and training, they will get instant clues whats happening.
Sir, firstly, if there is, lets say a drill, where is the Range NCO who is in-charge of this drill in the absence of a weapons officer ? If he is on the range why is he not screaming on top of his head on such a performance ?
So, this is not a drill, it seems to be just a way to test something, changing mag after 6-8-10 rounds or what in urdu you may call "shughal". Although i see a guy holding wrist watch, i still don't see the speed for making any records. He is taking his leisure time. One should attend training sessions on ranges and then know the amount of pressure that mounts w.r.t speed and accuracy. The efficiency level soars when either seniors are over-seeing or its a competition between companies or battalions or inter brigade or inter division.
You heard what the guy said," yeh sand bag k peechay chuppay huay hain, tum logon ka helmet oper se nazar ata hay". (this person is hiding behind sand bags, where as your helmet is exposed from the top)
Do you see this guy firing from side of sand bags and not standing behind sand bag to fire from top of sand bags, except in last few minutes and that also from towards the right side of sand bag only, and then he again fires from the right hand side but not from the top. Probably he is trying to show something like some difference firing from the side and firing from the top.
Secondly, drills don't happen on individual basis. If drills start happening one by one, then where is team work (squad-level, section-level) involved ? An officer may get privilege to occupy a vacant range.
Thirdly, After 80's and then 90's urban ops in karachi by PA and Rangers, it was concluded to train cadet officers in PMA to fire from both left and right sides, depending upon cover, not exposing one-self at all. This guy is exposing his left side of body when firing from left side of sand bag. He is doing it casually.
A sample taken from a pool will reflect the the pool. Societies and cultures that are highly developed will have got there because they excelled at organisation, discipline, hard work, fastidius etc. Take Germany. These qualities are ingrained into their culture. Result when German workers build houses, build roads, build towns, build electric grids, build water lines, build sewer lines, build cars, build trucks the product quality is superfluous. Then the same workers clean the roads, maintain cityscapes, maintain civic utilities the result is superfluous. Everything works like tick tock. We call that a highly developed country.
Now if you get those same people and place them in uniform. Hand them guns they are going to bring those same qualities that make them so superfluous. Point being have you seen how everything is shoddy in Pakistan. Well the army is not from Mars. So the same culture pervades there even if institutionally it tries to be better. That is how it is.
Your example will not fit here as Military and civilian establishment are very different in fact opposite in Pakistan. The training standard in military institutions makes all the difference.
