Also, while not defending the whole mess, we should not forget that graduates of this same institution have the highest officer to soldier casualty ratio

Also what most people don’t know here is that majority of officers don’t like getting posted to GHQ, except a few posts. For officers who are Maj Gen and below, posting at GHQ is usually the end of the career or officers who know they will get posted at non-career posts in staff HQs. GHQ also offers lowest to none facilities to officers while smaller cantts or far flung posted areas better career growth opportunities, better command and staff positions and over all better facilities.

Heck GHQ doesn’t offer military accommodations to all officers of GHQ, no dedicated accommodation. Most of the officers (even up to brigadiers) have to requisition accommodation on their own through civil procedures and then pay some amount from own pocket too since requisition amount is a mere Rs 15000, used to be Rs 12000 a decade ago. Try finding a house on rent in Rawalpindi in Rs 15000 nowadays.

You don’t find everything about Army on tweets and media who are just there sitting to negatively judge while sitting outside and knowing nothing what goes inside except assumptions based on hearsay and whatever their mediocre brains can muster.

People don’t need to know everything to make a judgment about an institution. It is true for every institution but what is shown outwards is enough for people of Pakistan to make up their mind. You guys keep repeating how majority of the army is not corrupt or how they are hard working - I agree.

They are not being targeted by majority of Pakistanis , people are fed up with corrupt generals. The fact that you can’t even type that yes corruption exist in army and yes Bajwa was a traitor shows a lot about you. It has been 1 year and not a single valid reason has been given for Removal of khan by Bajwa. He destroyed the country , putting millions below the poverty line, people dying in the line for food and you are here defending an institution which violated its oath of protecting the country.

They tried to kill the man, yet for some top secret reason army can’t disclose why khan had to be removed??? Wah Kya logic hai, will release naked videos of people but we can’t tell you what the man did.

Simple reason that him coming back in power threatens their illegal business interests. Him coming back in power, will end their state within state approach. Him coming back in power will mean a 22grade officer will stay a 22grade officer and won’t rule Pakistan.

You took an oath when you joined army to be loyal to the country not the bloody institution. The fact that you guys have so much hard time understanding that logic is the very reason army ( generals) need a software update.

Reminds me of the “star car” parking spot @PanzerKiel

I remember in a mess, a few aunties probably Mrs of army officers arrived in a car. The lady driving had to park the car outside the mess and she parked the car at “star car” spot. Just then the sentry on duty came running and said,
“ madam this is star car parking”.

The ladies replied,” hamari car ko star car hi samajh lo”

Generals, other officers and soldiers stand in one line and pray, just like mehmood o ayaz, but MP has to direct traffic keeping security, parking and traffic management in place.
