New Delhi :-
Raking the Kashmir issue, Pakistan has once again claimed the valley as a disputed territory and that it should be resolved as per the United Nations resolutions.
Posting on Twitter, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Major General Asim Saleem Bajwa quoted Army chief General Raheel Sharif, "Kashmir is an unfinished agenda of partition, Pak &Kashmir are inseparable. While we wish peace, stability in region, we want Kashmir's Just Resolution in the light of UN resolutions & as per aspirations of Kashmiris to bring lasting peace in region."
His statements came in the backdrop of recent ceasefire violations along the Line of Control.
On Wednesday, Pakistan’s Interior Minister also alleged that India’s reaction to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project shows that it does not want to see its neighbour making progress.
Nisar Ali Khan’s statement came after Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz earlier today also criticised India for opposing the USD 46 billion project launched in April.

- His statement comes even as there have been repeated cases of ceasefire violation along the Line of Control. During an encounter which took place for over 24 hours on Monday, Pakistani troops had violated the ceasefire by firing automatic weapons and rocket projectile grenades on forward posts along the LoC in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Pakistan had recently reiterated its stand that it will not start any dialogue with India if Kashmir issue was not part of the agenda. National Security Advisor Sartaj Aziz had said that the cancellation of scheduled talks in August 2014 over a meeting with Kashmiri leaders shows that India was not interested to talk on the issue. "Pakistan will not start talks with India without Kashmir," he said.
Pakistan had also in the past, levelled allegations of "breach of trust" on India over the killing of their Army personnel. India however, had dismissed the claims adding a consistent message was conveyed to Pakistan that if they were to stop firing on the Indian Border Posts, India would immediately end defensive firing but they refused to do so.
