History tells us an entirely different story to the tune we find you singing praise of the US for. A Europion country by the name Germany has that distinction in my book of being the most hardworking, creative and perfectionists of all.
There is no doubt that US is a great nation of hardworking people that have come from all over the world, no less geniuses from Germany, to prosper in the land of opportunity that became all the more attractive destination after World War II.
Relating back to the thread topic, it was German aviation prowess that advanced American and Russian aviation industry to new heights after they took designers and blue prints of German aviation marvels back to their respective countries and more decided to settle their on their own accunt and the victors made use of them to make unparalleled advancements in their own countries.
