It is very important to highlight the role of minorities in the defence of Pakistan because minorities don't get deserved respect in Pakistan. Such info will help the majority to realize that our non-Muslim Pakistani brothers are also as patriotic as any other son of the soil.

Don't mean to rant or anything but it is true us minorities are somewhat neglected. I know Pakistanis get pissed and angry when muslims are killed in India (ex Gujarat) but please look inside your home too. Gojra Riots against innocent Christians started by Mullahs was our kind of Gujarat Massacre on a lower scale. Some Pakistani Muslims get angry and pissed when some Muslim in Europe or America is harassed or discriminated but please do know that non Muslims in Pakistan are discriminated in the constitution. We cannot even become President or Prime Minister.

Let's not forget Quaid e Azam wanted to divide India and make Pakistan because Muslims were being neglected. What's happening to the minorities of Pakistan right now? Quaid e Azam always wanted Pakistan to be a country where all religious groups can be safe and live in peace. The white bar on the Pakistani flag represents the minorities of Pakistan.

Sorry for this little rant but just wanted to bring some things forward. Thank you to all those men and women of all religions and ethnicity who went out and fought in the wars to protect Pakistan.

Not a rant. Yours is the right to convey your concerns and ours is the responsibility to listen to them and then cater them, as is the case with looking after your rights as well.

Article 41 of the Constitution lay down that the President was to be the Head of the State. The President was to be a Muslim above 45 years of age and was to be elected by a joint sitting of members of the Parliament for 5 years.

can someone shed some light on Pakistan-Poland Military ties at this point in time?Like can we buy something useful from them?

Some of these officers, as far as I know, stayed back after partition. They were serving in RAF (Both in India and UK and could not go back to Poland after the communist take over.) A lot of them applied for jobs in both RIAF and RPAF specially in engineering and Ground Control/ATC branches. BTW a lot of them were serving at the time of 65' war and contributed immensely in maintaining a high a/c availability ratio of our fighter and bomber aircraft during the war.

There was no official link between PAF and Poland.
