This is so comically wrong, it confirms for me, that you have no idea what you're talking about.

Its nationalist rhetoric and nothing else.
PAF pilots sitting on briefings on the Rafale with friendly countries - taking checkrides on it came back to be fairly confident with the J-10C.

The whole “reliability/ performance” is all BS because the Ukrainian conflict is nowhere close to being analogous.

I don't have authentic data to back any of this up. Based on established reliability of western systems is where I am deriving my understanding. I am not sure hence there was a little 'may be' in that sentence.

The pkg on the J10-C is based on countering and coming up ahead of the RAFALE.

Same thing about the Jf17 BLK 3 package---it has been upgraded to do the same---.

A better weapon system.
A far better elecronic support system.

As all the chinese wepons, the real status of J10 is absolutely not known.
As all the chinese weapons systems are direct or nearly direct derivatives of russian ones, and with the poor results of the russians systems in Ukraine, we could have a big doubt about their efficiency.

Based on first hand experience in the cockpit - with fliers and so on. The PAF knows the Rafale - maybe not the exact EW frequencies India wants to use or the ones used by the ADA.. but it
Knows what is spouting it, how that works -

That doesn’t mean the PAF doesn’t respect the Rafale and knows it is a VERY potent weapon system - but at least now it is confident putting up assets whenever a Rafale goes airborne.

Hi,

As a professional fighting force---Paf would respect everyone of the enemy's aircraft---some more than the others---.

But off course it does respect the Rafale more than any other aircraft---because it is the pride and joy of the opponent.

For that reason we see the J 10 CP with a compliment of most advanced chinese weapons etc on a 4.5 gen aircraft---.

We also see the development of the JF17 BLK 3 change directions in mid-stride for a more potent EW weapons package to come out ahead f the Rafale in combat right about when the JF17 blk 3 was ready to be inducted into service---.

j-10 is derivative of Israel , Lavi, then it must be superior. .

And the Z-20 is derivative of Blackhawk USA. So it must be superior also.

The focus should now be on electronic attack against fighters. Fry their avionics and radar from hundreds of miles across. That would require larger aircraft that can carry all the equipment escorted by friendly fighters. I wonder if there are any such projects in the works....

Care to prove? IMO it is simply much too large and heavy even from the centreline station and even less unlikely it is that Paksitan will get it anyway.

What the limiting factor? If it’s size, a redesigned and slightly lighter export variant is not out of the realm of possibility for the additional capability it provides the PAF.
