PAF - Leading the fight

Dude the title of the thread, although advertised by the likes of Amazon, Abe books, Waterstones but due to some reasons it's pending to hit the shelves.

@Knuckles
Sir, request you to disclose more info that you are obviously holding as PAF themselves are always reluctant to share much.

The F-7PGs were inducted into PAF during 2002 hostilities with India.....not to fire just sidewinders....since we already had that capability.....know what i mean.

Hey I myself don't know the outcome of the exercise but met the guys as we all took turns on sitting in the Rafale.

. . .
Seriously ? Alan After Indradhanush Ex 2007 was never been part of it.
Due to IAF concerns,Even RAF bared Alan Wares from entering Waddington. Go ask him,he will again curse Indians for it .:P

You think F 7P is better ? I don't know which flakes you taking ,let me assure it's cheap.

If you stick to the topic and praise your f7pg and your amazing airforce rather than bashing excercuse of Indian air power the thread will be more interesting.

Let indians deal with their issues you guys just continue digesting your brilliance
Yes the thread will be more interesting if non contributing Indians would just stay out of it.

Before u get on ur high horse and tell us what to do u should read the thread and check who went off topic first and from where all this BS started. The mods have removed that post now but u can still see it quoted in post #8. Yeah that's right it was one of urs who started this d*ck measuring by bringing up the whole IAF vs RAF competition. If u can't keep ur trolls in check don't expect us to keep ours in check. Trolling invites trolling.

Never realized F-7pg was so agile and difficult to tame

I personally was shocked when I saw a picture of F16 next to F-7PG the jets are almost same size

I always imagined the F-7Pg to be tiny plane
Well sir if they are not that agile then they shouldn't be next to f22 in the pic

The new book by Alan Warnes, PAF-Leading the fight, an insider tells me it is said to be a masterpiece, it contains some fantastic and even classified shots hitherto never published.
Amongst others, couple of very interesting points mentioned in the book are that the F-16s that PAF acquired from Jordan in 2014 actually have over 5000 hours of life in them and not the 3000 hours that was generally reported in the media, so technically No 19 squadron can fly them for another 20 years. Also it seems the F-7PGs which usualy remain in the shadows have been proving tough opponents even for the likes of EF Typhoons.

"The F-7PGs and their pilots are excellent ‘aggressors’ and as an RAF officer said after a 2009 Air Tactical Leadership Course (ATLC) in UAE, are very difficult to outmanoeuvre and what’s more – extremely professional."

Interesting read. The F-7PGs are outdated now.
The JF-17 fighters are going to make the backbone of the airforce.

.
He was covering the 2007 exercise but was appalled by the unprofessional ism of the IAF commander, even the RAF leader was dumbfounded, however while Alan gets invited around the globe to cover exercises and airshows but obviously he's not up to the Indian standards since no one knows IAF better than an Indian. :enjoy:

PG is much more capable than just the P version hence the reason it's sent to compete with some of the best, even a Raptor pilot had to acknowledge it's potential.

Thank you for posting this picture I was after it

There's some concern due to the nature of some contents hence it's not being released yet.
