What's new

PAF guys we saw dancing on video are suspended from flying

.
These are boys from No. 18 Squadron (Sharpshooters).
The video seems to be made by the same crew who created the hit,
"Tribute to 18 Squadron". Some of the previous footage has been included in this video. I doubt the PAF guys would have been grounded due to this since the works seems to have been done professionally and not behind closed doors.

i kinda thought those were immature acts so not against decision...

what do u say chogy?

I love it! If it can make us laugh, it definitely made the troops laugh as well.

I think it's not too hard... you obviously don't want something like this happening 3X a day. A goofy thing like that every couple of months brightens what is otherwise a pretty grim period in peoples' lives. And a good commander will look the other way so long as it is reasonably infrequent, and does not affect discipline and performance.

There's so much stress in the military. They are all human, and need to blow off steam. We'd do it with rough and tumble horseplay, American football, a game we called "combat crud", and other activities.

Crud matches:

I can see both sides to this argument, but those against need to understand the stresses. Yes those pilots are in a dangerous business even when not in combat.

I think under most circumstances, a disciplinary ''letter of caution'' would suffice; an official reprimand. Granted, I havent seen this video everyone seems to be talking about so can't really comment further

the mess halls @ PAF academy I heard could sometimes be quite the rowdy place especially back in 1960s :woot:

Can you plz mention the link of such video so that we can see and judge whether the decision of PAf is correct or not...........

The video has been blocked now even on youtube due to copyrights claim.if you would have checked it a week ago you would probably have seen that video

i have the video-- i will upload it on YouTube-- but first try to find the video on Imran bhai's you tube account-- he has uploaded it-- i do not have YouTube at office-- so cant post now--

This makes me sick.

OMG I saw a room with some dry erase boards!!! I now have the intel I need to obliterate the PAF.

Gimme a break. The internet is FULL of military humor, especially troops goofing in Iraq and Afghanistan. It is a stressful life... let them blow off steam.

I agree.. we got British and Americans doing "YMCA" .. playing pranks on their sleeping mates etc.
I cant comment on the video as it was removed before I could see it.

I agree a lot of things are not a secret anymore due to your satellites and other airborne surveillance devices and planes. But if the video contained like the posters say “flight lines” or the close up of any ops charts, flight roasters and the like you rather not want anyone else to see then there is a problem.

I think the problem here was not the dancing but the place. I can only speculate because I missed the video. I must assure you that like yourself Pak Armed forces also chill out and dance on different occasions both organised and informal even on the front..

@Xeric…
Whatever happens their ACR is all red. These guys should have been mindful what the camera was capturing.
