What interest could it be, taking him to visit twice in months? An interest about shooting down a Flanker? A joint exercise? Japan sees Chinese Flankers as a threat and so Russia on other hand. I can be wrong though.

Difficult to say at this moment as i don't see the Japanese Military attaché present to cover the combat aspect of the meetings. But since the dignitary is meeting the PAF leader, it's naturally airforce related.

I think it was Shiekh Rasheed, who said the Japanese inquire about things that do not concern them, since they are basically collecting intel on behalf of the US.
