This bird of prey looks increasingly more formidable with the passage of each day!!! Her dagger and sword like claws (WVR/BVR missiles), minions (of Babur Han, EbdAli etc.) at her belly with the Eagle-like sharp eyes (AESA radars, ASELPOD etc.), and chirpings (EW/Communications capabilities etc.) would push a cold shudder across the spines of her nemesis!!!! Not being used operationally but that doesn’t mean its not ready for deployment.

Probably not for routine alert missions which is why no pictures.
Peace time ops are usually with two MRAAMs and fuel tanks.
At times that has been reduced to just wvr weapons as well.

In addition, did you notice how the C-802s are with multiple squadrons?

You'd think it'd just be No. 2 at Masroor, but it turns out No. 16 also has them. I wonder if it's just for testing or if the C-802 is basically being used as a land-attack ALCM as well? Heck, if you get them at relatively low cost (thanks to China's scale), why not?

Now that you mention it, it would be a good alternative to Ra'ad in the conventional role.

Yep. The range might be limited though (180 km), but it's a good start, especially with the 60-km REK for fixed targets. Interestingly, Azerbaijan bought the Turkish SOM, so if there's a plan to market the JF-17 to their air force, then it'd make sense to integrate that to the JF-17. The SOM itself should be ITAR-free if Azerbaijan can buy it.
