PAF Chief in China to discuss upgradation of JF-17, plans to acquire 200 fighters

. .
I have hunch we will have J-10B/C in equal numbers to Indian Rafael with delivery almost at same time.

.
This seems to be misreported.

and if this is true, then we are making a huge mistake one more time.
Like the F7-Pg story once before.

.
200 JFs?

1 JF = $35 million
200 JFs = $7 billion = Rs 75,000 crores PKR!

Pakistan seems flooded with cash! Unless China gifts all these planes to Pakistan, it's going to be an uphill task. The first to object would be the IMF!

.
As per my understanding they are going to upgrade existing ones in a year ???

.
Things are confusing I am 100 % sure that during Chinese president visit we signed lot of major defence deals but detail will come out slowly
Agreed Sir.Surprisingly for the first time Pakistan has concealed the Defense deals signed with any country and in this case its with China and while elaborate details came out of other deals, the signed Defense deals were not brought out. Its probably because of the sensitive nature of the deals which may prompt some countries to start making hue and cry as usual.Lets wait and see.

some people dont think the PG was mistake seeing how thunders have yet to come in numbers.
PG life span of 15-20 years will be fully exploited in relevant environment.
i think the news meant that either deals of 200 ac wil be signed or final no. of 200 thunders will be obtained

block first was at 18 million dollars. block 2 will barely be near 25 million.

A case of miss interpenetrated reporting.
The main purpose of this visit is the future up gradations of JF-17 program and may be a few J-10. Also we may see PAF joining J-31 very soon, may well be this very visit, securing future!!
The 200 number may have come from the purposed JF-17 in various blocks.

Interesting to see one of the JF-17 Test pilot accompanying the Air chief.

Well my friends don't be so much confused by such statements, as these are some time consecutive statements which reiterate relations among countries. We have put forward our demand of another 60 JF-17 from china after 100 thunders consisting 50 BLK-1 and 50 BLK 2's on which deliveries are taking place gradually. Another 60 between 2018-20 as it might be the Blk-3 for which Air Chief is there for its speedy development and up gradation as per designed on paper. During that time PAF won't sit idle as time for 3 years 2015-2018 Kaamra will assemble another 50, (16+16+18). starting this year.210 would be the number uptill 2020. Its not my guess some credible source. In few days it will be clear again. FC-31 is still not giving clear picture as 2nd prototype is being build and not confirmed for its first flight in China.

This could be true.
