PAF Air Refueling Capability

As we are not increasing F-16 numbers, So its not necessary to spend some extra on another Refueling platform.

it was in news dear 2007 2008 now forget it its not gonna happen we are not going for falcons anymore and soon our f-16 after MLU will be line-2 and fc-20 will overtake them .don't forget we are not going any boom system refueling air craft in future too so its just waste of money and time .in 2020 we have more then 450 fighter which refuel with probe and drogue underwing pods system . its better for us to go more on IL-78MP or any other similer air crafts .or else multi system re-fuelers like Airbus A310 MRTT and we have A-310s in pakistan .

why not air bus ? the original company?

we dont need tankers for f-16s. with two drop tanks, it has enough range to go deep inside enemy territory on a strike mission. and besides our f-16s have more of a "fighter-intercept" role. F-16s are usually called when there is infilteration by the enemy aircrafts. they dont do CAP missions( they do, but not for so long), thats the job for thunder now...
its small and more efficient.

A310 is serving with PIA now, and since you already know PIA is not in good shape. it needs those aircrafts.

dear razgir PIA is going to replace them with more leassed birds soon . we have 12 A-310 in PIA . six of them are ours and six are from airbus leased . so i am sure soon first baby AP-BDZ AirbusA-310-308 which was first one induct on 1991-06-25 go out and by look its still better then our IL-78s

A310 is serving with PIA now, and since you already know PIA is not in good shape. it needs those aircrafts.

I don't think platform is the limitation, I believe the boom system (if available) can also work with the IL78.

now they are producing Airbus A330 MRTT
