What's new

Padmaavat' gets smooth clearance for Pakistan release

It's padmaavati not padmaavat...Lol.

I don't know why Pakistanis are jumping on deepika or skin tone...It's a fictional story and for christsake if you don't want indian cinema, fucking ban it don't cry in public forum. We indians had it enough from idiots on this side of the border.

Anyways I am looking forward to this film.
How ignorant depsite being an indian. Film is renamed as padmaavat. And as i am history buff i always keep check on any sub continent propaganda movie made by india.

And in case you dont know Padmaavat was the actual name of poem or book on which film padmavati was made.

And about this " if you don't want indian cinema, fucking ban it don't cry in public forum"

LMAO funny a gangadeshi telling pakistanis on a PAKISTANI FORUM what they should discuss or not? Its our forum we will share our views here infact on any forum. Lmao i am surprised at a ganagadeshs indians guts to tell pakistanis on their own forum what they should talk about or not.

You are completely an unnecessary presence on this forum along with your street shytting countryfellows houdinthis forum. So eff off from here instead of coming and crying on a Pakistani forum about your lonely depressing life.

Current India with near Nazi like anti-muslim sentiments makes a heavy anti-muslim movie.. and supposed Islami Jamhooria e Pakistan lets it run... all things considered it probably involved some bribes and coaxing to get this film released.

Muslim guy gets Hindu girl.

The rest is window dressing.

Cheers, Doc

Ok man.

......

Point is if a similar movie was made with the gender roles reversed, there would be blood and headless corpses.

We both know which set of people resort to what.

And not just in the subcontinent.

Cheers, Doc

There have been some movies about a hindu guy and muslim girl love interest. I know 'Veer Zaara' was about a Pakistani muslim girl but there weren't any riots by muslims like we are seeing the hindus doing due to padmaavat.
Muslims will usually only protest if someone makes a movie about the Prophet Mummad(pbuh).

Then maybe the explanation is that Hindus are more sensitive about their women than Muslims are?

For example, did Muslims, in any race or ethnicity, have a concept similar to Jauhar?

No you are historically wrong..

its was Shamsuddin Iltutmish who did it.. when he denied the Sultan of Khawarizm the entry to india, on the pretext of bad weather, while. he was being hounded by mongol hordes.. and khalji came atleast 70 years after genghis khan.

and yes.. it was not the subcontinent but their own nascent Islamic sultanate which they saved from rapacious mongols.. remember chengiz was the biggest enemy of islam at that time
Sorry my friend but history does not go by with your Hindu Extremist hatered stuff. Khilji Defeated the Mongol Horde. And Mongol Horde was not limited to Gengis khan, His subsequent Khanates were as Brutal as him. Khilji Defeated them and Protected the Subcontinent from Those Mongol Animals.
Whether you like it or not it is your problem. Now dont Qoute me with usual Indian Style Denial Rubbish. Either Come up with something that Khilji never defeated the Mongol horde or move on

this is what low edu does..

the previous poster clearly daid it was alaudin khalji who saved from. genghis. i just said. its factually incorrect . i noe he saved frm mongol. hordes in general.

but then i gave my answer in the next point itself..
it was their own nascent sultanate that they were saving.

how ? because these same sultans eg Balban.. converted many Mongols to islam and set up. mongolpura in delhi. .

which clearly tells. us they were saving their skin nothing elae

Muslims protested against the movie bombay with a similar theme. Many died in those riots.

Oh that just makes it all good now...

The anti Muslim angle can hardly be put forward as a reason when allowing it is going to piss of a significant chunk of the hated Hindu populace next door.

A large component of the Pakistani psyche is centered around being manlier.

Nothing manlier than cucking the enemy.

Somehow ridiculing a muslim ruler is made up by that...
but since a large component of the Indian psyche is centered around sniveling cynicism, giving a positive angle to insults is part of it.

It is natural for the revisionist Pakistani psyche to see this as a "Muslim ruler" thing. @Kaptaan has his finger on the pulse pretty accurately when he calls Pakistan a refuge camp for Indian Muslims.

For us Indians, thankfully unburdened by such silly and frankly insecure complexes, as natural inheritors of our millennia long civilizational history, we would see Khilji or any other simply as invading foreign rulers who have been seen and absorbed by India over centuries.

Funnily, Pakistanis do not see these guys as invaders. Who pillaged them and their bloodlines worst.

I guess the fact that most of you today are born Muslims, versus your ancestors who had little choice in the matter, must help.

I don't know.

Yes, poor Indians so unburdened by such history that they continually try to disparage it and then act like a wet cat as if they are above all the pithy bigotry they hold.

Please, you could not stink more of bigotry and hatred even if you doused yourself in the daily ego appeasing high horse displays you bring.

I don't disagree with you at all.

We've known each other for some time.

No surprises on either side.

The good thing about interacting on PDF where you hold the big stick is that all you get is pithy. You don't actually get to hear what others really think.

Which is a good thing.

Cheers, Doc

And the meowing begins.

And the meowing begins.

Have you ever wondered, in your more private unguarded moments, what would happen were you to interact with some of us here on an even footing?

I'm sure you have. Which is why I've never seen you elsewhere.
