What's new

PAC receives orders worth $40 million

sad news Indeed

FROM CLOSE TO A BILLION EXPORT DOWN TO JUST 40MILLIONS IS INDEED A GREAT LOSS

production for pac alone of 16 per year is Ok

since the nawabshah plant alone will have capacity of 20 or more jft per year

......... PAC cannot sell aircraft (they made a TAKHTI tablet a few months back, whatever happened to that project? I have not seen a single TAKHTI made by PAC anywhere in Pakistani shops or with any of my friends etc) the same way HIT cannot sell Al-Khalids to Saudi Arabia in an almost done deal a few years back!!

The Takhti tablet must be "officially" a huge success, and just like the Al-Khalid, the JF-17 will also achieve international sales success, "officially".

In our country every thing is good and perfect 'officially'

Of course. Don't forget to add that while everything is perfect now, even better more higher perfect perfection is just around the corner. :D

Chances of snow in hell is greater at this time compared to the uniformed lot handing over the sales control to the more experienced businessmen in Pakistan!!

They didn't even want the private firms to get in for a fire tender truck, let alone a jet or some other high tech machinery!!!

Its time for the private enterprise to be given a chance.

The private sector sucks ba**s in Pakistan. They are so incompetent, its just simply amazing. It appears that only very few organizations are willing to do quality work, the others are just finding short cuts to make a quick buck. The Army handed out a contract to a firm not long ago to supply them with military boots. The quality of boots was so bad, that the order had to be cancelled. All the Army could do was blacklist them, but the damage was already done. PA on several instances tried to work with the private industry, but the results were so bad that the Army decided to go in-house.

From Servis Shoes, to Bata to perhaps Lyra in Karachi, Pakistan boasts one of the best & the oldest shoe manufacturing industry in Pakistan that supplies to international brands and you want me to believe that Army got bad boots??!!?? Maybe there was more to the entire deal that met the eye!
