Overpopulation is the root cause of Bangladeshis migrating to India

. . . . . .
My fellow countrymen, please shun this monkey from India and boycott his worthless posts. Moderators, please re-check the identity of this @IamBengali. He is certainly not a BD citizen.

Bangladesh is a small country with an area of 147570 square km and a population of 161 million (Official), 181 million (Unofficial). It has the highest density of population in the world . And the causes behind such devastating problem are illiteracy, early marriage, excess of birth rate over death rate, climatic conditions, lack of resources, lack of family planning and many such reasons. Some problems associated with overpopulation are shortage of food, inadequate fresh water, illegal immigration, crowding, traffic, unemployment, high crime rates and many more adverse aftermaths.

In this map you can easily get how small Bangladesh is compared to its big brother country India.

Pakistan is a country which is 7 times bigger than Bangladesh with 181 million population. Same as Bangladesh. Overpopulation is also a problem for Pakistan but not as serious problem as that for Bangladesh. 18 crore in only 147570 square km land whereas Nepal which is slightly smaller (147,181 square km) than Bangladesh has only 2 crore population. Really, its insane.

Many people are jobless. Many are committing suicide due to frustration of being jobless and many have migrated to India for job opportunities.

Just 4 days back a Dhaka University student commited suicide for not getting job.

About 1 crore Bangladeshis live abroad with work permit but we need to send atleast 10 crore population to abroad for work because Bangladesh even if becomes a super rich country will not be able to provide better life quality to each Bangladeshi due to less land but more people. Yesterday a report shows 17% land will go under water immediately once sea level rises to just 1 mm. Just 1 mm ! 30% will eventually go under sea if sea level rises a bit more than 1 mm.

So BD govt. is pleading rich countries to help in this crisis with financial aid to save people.

Is population a blessing or a curse?

Sheikh Hasina is not very concerned about population problem. She openly said that population is blessing, not curse for Bangladesh several times. Many criticized her for such notorious statement. Skilled population is blessing if you have land to accommodate them but is a curse if you have extremely small land for your excessive population.

Adverse effects of large population: many are evils of a large population:

  • Income per head decreases.
  • Land per head decreases.
  • People remain unemployed.
  • Land becomes fragmented.
  • Rate of saving declines.
  • Housing problem becomes acute.
  • Prices of things go up.
  • Balance of trade becomes unfavorable.
  • Social values are degraded etc.

The reason why Bangladeshis are migrating to India on such a rapid scale is not for India love , its because we have extremely populated country which can't provide all basic needs to its population.

This over population is the main problem of Bangladesh and we need to control it immediately otherwise black day is coming for Bangladesh.

Measures to control population:
  • To educate the masses to educate women folk.
  • To adopt family planning for small familly of only two children for each couple, if possible only one.
  • To award parents having only two children.
  • To impose penalty on parents having more than two children. They can be penalized by increasing tax rates.
  • To make wide publicity through mass media.
  • To educate fearful religious people in Friday sermon.
  • To attain self-sufficiency in food grains.
Above all, our government should make all-out efforts to make the best possible use of our natural savings.

Pakistan does not have 181 million people. Officially today it is 190 million, while unofficially it is more than 220 million.

Millions of Pakistanis have migrated too.

What if BD was not broken away from Pakistan ?? they would have come to Pakistan instead of India ..

Its really blessing in a disguise
in that case they would have stayed in what you could call Pakistan only, genius.

I guess we are really blessed that they are no longer part of Pakistan, their Geo-strategic location puts them on at least 90% under Indian influence, they are almost same like Indians in terms of looks, culture or anything you can think of. I guess we should be Thankful to India for helping us get rid of them now they can enjoy with them :D I really hope all Bangladeshis will one day will be living in India :D

That's scary, but the solution is definitely not to jump borders :)

Legal migration to countries like singapore, indonesia and malaysia will do the job , like most of the Indian muslims leave India and go for gulf countries
