I also include mk2 and mk3 here. 200th LCA could beat Gripen NG.
Before AMCA we can make our indigenous production rate to an unbelievable range.
Robotic production will be taking place.
Kavari would have a fighter test bed.
Those avionics can be used in AMCA.
By the way we cant risk heavy aircrafts / MRCA's to strike at borders.
The concept is still alive if Mk3 can be made with increase in payload and better avionics.

^ LCAMK1 is not what the IAF wants but its more capable that the 60 year old ancient MiG-21's we still fly we will induct 48 MK1 the MK2 is the 4.5 gen real deal that will meet the IAF revised requirements the MK2 will be better in every capability i can't wait for it

and as for MK3 that is a myth please do not get ahead yourselves we need MK2 first to replace ancient MiG's and serve as part of the fighter backbone

You are right. yes our LCA program is awfully delayed but cant scrap it as this will be the platform for next 50yrs.

I doubt Praful should either be a kid out of school or a close associate of a blind anti-congress political party who just ridicule every failure to congress party instead of all politicians. All politicians are good for nothing and just there to fill their own pockets is my take. So please dont take my statement as pro congress.
