Bro, Pakistan has been under military rule for half it's history. It's already a banana republic. During this time, it lost East Pakistan and over half the population, parts of Kashmir, 70,000 lives in WoT, economic damage which can quantified by remembering that no foreigner is stupid enough to invest here where anyone can be blown up at anytime.

Why is it that despite COAS unconstitutionally removing governments, we preach that chain of command is more sacred than the constitution, saving the country from collapse, or even firing on civilians? The very things every soldier has sworn an oath to protect? Why is there more loyalty to the COAS then to the people of Pakistan?

Furthermore, we have seen the establishment remove COAS over personal whims or even assassinate a COAS over foreign dictation. So why then does chain of command take a back seat in these scenarios?

You have army guys on this forum, mocking civilians that their opinions don't matter or joking that bullets await Imran Khan, like in the post below. It's as if the army treats this country like it's a colony or fiefdom. It's clear that there is truth to the saying, "every country has an army, but the Pakistan Army has a country".

Brother, I understand your emotions and trust me when I say this it is suffocating and frustrating. The last thing we need is a precedent to be set by a junior to overthrow the chief. Which was the main point I was referring to, I agree with everything that you say but if a junior overthrows the chief he will never announce elections. I don’t know how old you are, I am not that old myself but I know when I was a younger with hot blood, thinking of myself as some hot shit ready to conquer the world, not giving a f about anybody or anything, I was a completely different animal to now when I am a lot more mature and with a cooler head. Hence cooler heads should prevail , I personally think Asim is a teenager in a 60 years old body, how is that going for us right now? Now imagine if major or LT colonel who thinks of power as money, girls or some other childish thing becomes the chief, do you think he will announce elections and let go of powe which is the biggest and most addictive drug? Basically we both want the same thing just different ways of going about it if that makes sense.

lol @ mocking and joking. Nah doing none of that. If you really think that civilian opinion mattered then would certain happenings had happened. Think about it. I have stated a reality, you don’t like it, then walk away. As for the bullet awaiting IK, that too. It’s not my want, none of this.

Civilian opinion does matter. It mattered when Bengalis in East Pakistan decided to break away. It matters right now as the establishment can't forgive Imran Khan for turning the country against them. It will matter again if the country decides to pick up arms against the army.

Learn to stand down soldier. The army is not God. You don't even compare to more powerful armies like the US Army, which is on standby to secure your nukes once the public violently turns against the army. Then the DHA Generals will be sh*ting their pants when they see USN carriers parked outside with SOF preparing to go to nuke sites. Then you'll see how much civilian opinion matters.

Btw how do these clowns manage to add syed to the their name can anyone tell me and give a brief explantion about these wannabe syeds

Don’t get your panties into a twist please. Read Surah Kauthar. Who is “kasrat” being granted to? If you ever wonder why Syed’s are more in the world than Hijaz, read history please, which 90% of us don’t, it is very sad and dark but true. The rest is up to Allah SWT.

Serious question-

If chain of command is so important and sacred, why do we blame the army of Yazid for massacring Hussain? They were just following chain of command too, no?

Seriously? You think that was about the chain of command?! No sir. That was the case of muslims massacring their Prophets (PBUH) grandson about whom there are many hadiths of his excellence and merit. Kindly don’t compare that to this chain of command nonsense.

Damn! Khan isn't coming slow. He also used the C word.

On a serious note, he should have adopted this tone long ago. His appeasement policy is the reason where he is now. In Madarchod wardi walon ko in ki zubaan main jawab long over due tha.
Not the C word, sounded like it but he actually said "choonti" (ant).

Surely, a part of it was. Otherwise, the soldiers ought to have declined to follow the orders from the top that they knew to be wrong. The soldiers or generals in the army cannot use chain of command or obedience to ruler as an excuse for the evil that they did.

Likewise, the same applies to our soldiers here. If you think that an order from the top is wrong, don’t be a cuck. Stand up for yourself and refuse to follow it. Have some ghairat and be willing to fall on your sword if need be.

If they really think this will be taken care of when IK is taken out, then they have learmed nothing from 71.

It would have been all good, if you had governance behind your actions. With rampant inflation and unemployment, plus a really really young population. Good Luck with that !

A certain poster here wants you to believe that the Pakistan Army has a super structure unmatched by any. Well guess what it doesn't.

Just over 50 years ago, there was the same grand talk and look what happened with the biggest surrender in South Asian history.

Whom the gods would destroy, they first make mad

There is a reason these thugs are called duffers. Just short-sighted shallow goals with absolute no care for long-term reprecussions to the nation.

IK came hard on DG ISPR statement, very strong hard hitting words for him/them.

DG ISPR Tweet was done in bad taste, clearly partisan, political and insulting IK no doubt. Wiith both taking extreme positions, it would be further chaos and uncertainty.

IK represents the largest political party, resonates with the nation. It's the people of Pakistan who are behind him and PTI, it's not that some polictical workers and some leaders can be arrested and party will fizzle out.

What the atrocities and brutal crackdown the neutrals and PDM are doing are against the people of Pakistan, its not against a party, this simple thing the morons couldn't understand.

It is putting people against the neutrals and PDM, and IK is getting more support.
