Basically gist was they said "criminals" with petrol bombs were planning an attack on Srinagar road and near High Court. They blamed the shooting on "unknown criminals" and also blamed IK for stubbornly refusing Police Security. They also said if anything happens to him or any buildings are damaged or lives lost Islamabad Police will not be held responsible.

Definitely not ordinary. There’s a reason why Corps Commander himself is there commanding the situation, why the op was put on hold until the SSG could come and take over, otherwise the FC-SF would usually be enough.

Conspiracies will fly, but if such an attack had to happen. This was either the perfect time or the worst. Perfect because everyone let their guard down and worst because nobody will notice it, which is usually the point of such terrorism.

Either way, the loss has been great, and it seems the situation is now resolved.

Sir the issue with the rapidly developing situation is that a false flag will most likely be done and multiple false flags according to sources. This will try and capture the attention back to the Army General's taking control of situations which would've "hurt national security" and then ISPR will release statements. The video you've posted clearly shows these people are very well trained which even a normal jawaan isn't trained so question comes, who trained these people and where have they come from?

Another problem is such plans will inevitably mean innocent soldiers will die and given what we've seen, a normal jawaan as well as a junior officer is disposable for the generals to accomplish their aims so we will see innocent people losing their lives.

Allah maaf kare and no one else dies but we're already hearing upto 16-20 dead and many more injured. The number will unfortunately rise.

Detain on the basis of what? Surely Army isn't stupid to attempt such a thing given the court orders. Plus, reports coming that Army/SSG are involved in taking him to Lahore? Unsure how true but Moeed Peerzada normally has authentic news.

Multiple casualties....so no!

Equipment is American M-16s/M-4 carbines, so clearly Afghan ANA stocks supplied to the TTP. I am not sure what "highly trained" vs. not trained here is.

Anyone looking to attack an FC position has time on their side to train. TTP has plenty of real estate and equipment on hand for these types of operations.
